We chose this restaurant because it had an 8.9 rating on The Fork, but honestly, it turned out to be one of the most average meals we’ve had in Italy. • My pasta (the green one with pesto and clams) was overcooked and mushy, far from the proper texture for Italian cuisine. • The calamari fritti were overpriced and bland, very basic and not worth the cost. • My partner’s dish was also quite underwhelming and forgettable. The only highlight was the friendly waitress the service was warm and attentive, and truly the only thing that made the experience worthwhile.

We would just like to point out that the pasta with pesto and clams is a special pairing created by our chef with fresh homemade pasta, which is why the texture may differ from industrial pasta, even though it is usually very well appreciated. Our calamari are also fresh, and this can slightly affect the price compared to the average. We understand that these clarifications do not change your perception, but your review – the first of this kind – will be discussed in our weekly team meeting. 4/10Was expecting good food as the reviews are great but the food just wasn’t great and didn’t taste of much. A bit style over substance. Wine was nice and the staff were lovely.
