Govinda has a calm, spiritual atmosphere that makes dining very relaxing. There’s also a nice temple inside, adding to the peaceful and welcoming vibe. The vegetarian and vegan dishes are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the staff are warm and attentive.

Govinda is not only a food destination but an experience.We were met with kindness and a sense of calm.The restaurant interior is simple but nice with attractive ceiling. We visited the Hare Krishna temple downstairs which put us in the mood for what was coming.The service was attentive and when we explained of an allergy,the waiter immediately asked the kitchen to make necessary changes to the fixed Thali menu they offer. The food is very close to Indian cooking but not spicy. All dishes on the Thali complimented each other resulting in a balanced offering. The restaurant does not offer alcoholic beverages but this did not in any way lessens our experience. We were looked after impeccably with true kindness that is rare to find. Our experience was tops. The only reason I did not give 10 to food is that by the time you manage to get to the last dishes they inevitably get a little colder. But quite honestly that’s not a big deal at all. Food was very good. Especially the rice pilau and dhal (lentils). Service was prompt and courteous.

I came with my parents. Absolutely brilliant warm friendly caring staff (I think the lady was Serena and there was a good gentleman too). They are very popular and people can queue up long if you don't book ahead (always a good sign). They will try and make space for you comfortable. They never rush anyone. The food was amazing and plentiful. It's as good as any you can taste. For it to be so ethically sourced and causing no harm to any animals as part of their philosophy (you can trust there is no mixing of meat products as its a pure veg/vegan restaurant) just makes it extra special. I used to eat loads of meat, but don't miss it at all with this food which tastes much better. I could go on. Must be experienced and you'll probably want to come again while your in Milan as we did.

Excellent Satvik food and the host / staff were very good and welcoming. The food is fresh, tasteful and very healthy vegetarian / vegan options. The portions are wholesome.

The whole experience was just wonderful. It’s more than just a restaurant. A hidden gem in Milan. Regarding the food, it was simply delicious. Unfortunately we weren’t very hungry, so we struggled to finish our portions. But every single dish was amazing. I can’t wait to visit it again.

We didn't know it was a Hare Krishna restaurant, but it was an interesting experience with nice food. There was a fixed vegetarian menu (with a vegan option). Very kind and helpful waiter.
