5/10This restaurant has a great old, historic ambience. And unfortunately it stops there. The food is quite bland and basic and the service is not that great either. Pretty unfortunate, it’s such a beautiful place.

10/10We are quite new to Amsterdam and wanted to try a place a step up from the excellent bars and pubs available throughout the city, The decor was classic and the menu (we had lunch) was thorough. The service was casually efficient and the the food was terrific. We were very pleased with our choice and would highly reccommend!

8.5/10I usually go for the ribeye however, it doesn’t come with fries and salad anymore but on the menu, it still says it does. Now I t comes with fried vegetables and potato cake. I think they should either renew the menu or let you know when you order it.

7/10The restaurant is beautiful. The mustwas a little too loud. The service was hit and miss. Slow to take order and forgot items on a number of occasions. . Food was really good.

4.5/10The staff was not helpful. They seated us next to staff that were clearly having a heated discussion. We asked if some food could be made gluten-free but they said no and quickly took the order to kitchen without asking or offering any options. it was very a disappointing experience I would not recommend this place.

7.5/10The restaurant is attractive and convenient at the Amsterdam central station. We ate there twice. The food has been good, as the fish was fresh and flavorful. The service was friendly but extremely slow. The first time, the waitress seemed new and didn’t even give us utensils when the food was served. The second time, we waited a long time for entries and even longer with the dessert. My wife literally fell asleep waiting. We may come again but line to see the service speeds up some.

5.5/10A beautiful place, the food was just OK but the service was truly horrible. They cater to tour groups, and completely ignored us. 30 minutes after ordering, we Alerted the waitress, who then noticed that our order had not been fired. Another 15 minutes or so, and we finally got our meals. The person taking payment refused to split our bill, saying it was "too busy". All in all, a disappointment. Would not recommend.

10/10When we arrived at the restaurant we were shown to a table in an entirely different section with no other people and no “ambience” compared to the main restaurant which was “buzzing”. My conclusion was that we were being driven differentiated as “Fork discount” customers and it left me feeling a bit concerned. I needn’t have worried though as this part of the restaurant eventually filled up and I could not fault the quality of food or the service, both of which were excellent. Thank you !!!

7.5/10The food was pretty tasty and was nice to dine in a smart station restaurant however it was let down by the attitude of both the restaurant (who don’t honour the offers properly, only on a specially produced smaller menu, not the proper menu) and some of the wait staff who seem to take offence when you use an offer that is being offered to try and drive custom, and get upset that you are availing of a discount that their employer is offering…A real shame as the food is very good

9/10Beautiful restaurant located at the central station. Food was delicious, and service was fast. We had the soup of the day , some wine and main courses would definitely recommend de kogelbiefstuk and the ossenhaaspuntjes. We can’t wait to come again!

10/10This is a quaint and stylish and restaurant, ideally located at the Central Station. The drinks and food were excellent in quality, presentation and value for money. We loved our experience and the service was good too. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and indeed plan to at the end of our trip.
