9/10We have battered sole as a starter for sharing. Main dishes were hand peeled North Sea grey shrimp with creamy potatoes and Pig cheeks “Brugse Zot” beer with home made croquettes. Both main dishes were authentically delicious and portions were generous. The vibe was relaxing and peaceful, a nice place to enjoy the great meals. Thank you

9/10Excellent lunch - REALLY enjoyed it - food was delicious and being able to see the chef in the kitchen - it feels like you’re in someone’s ‘home’. Didn’t disappoint at all. We went at lunch on a particularly quiet Monday lunch time so there weren’t many diners. That said- the food and service were exceptional!!

10/10Had such a great time! This was exactly what we were looking for. If you want pretentious, small portions and food without soul don’t go here. If you want food made with love that is genuine and generous do yourself a favor and come eat here.

10/10On the outskirts of the town. Places like that have to be good to justify the detour and… Smallish menu and traditional . Good wine list. Nice ambience, quiet and relaxed. Crystal bread and prosciutto starter. Good quality aged meat. Then waited over 30 mins for the main.. ‘Little Chicken’ with Tarragon sauce….good but the tarragon sauce was a bit strange. The other dish was ‘Sole Handles’ which was basically posh fish fingers. Tasty and the tartar sauce was good. Sophie did an amazing job of servicing the whole restaurant with a new starter. She was very attentive and very professional. Tbh the food was good but Sophie lifted the score from a 3 to a 5 on service alone, Well done!

6/10The staff was super welcoming. I am visiting Brugges for a short holiday with family, and I think this spot is more for those looking for a “home cooked” meal experience. I don’t want to dismiss that type of experience, but I think I was expected more from Michelin rated dining. Regardless, it is worth the visit to support the business and try local cuisine

9.5/10The food was just fantastic. I had the special (venison) and my partner had the Rib eye. Food was just next level. Staff where extremely helpful and attentive. They could not help more. Closing we both has a very tasty dessert. This is a must visit when coming to Brugges

10/10Friendly service backed up by excellent cooking. The Pheasant was particularly good although all out dishes were well received (Venison, & fish goujons). More than ample portions left no room for desert but so good was out experience, we booked in again for Saturday evening. Would highly recommend.
