Simple restaurant, with very good food for the price. Good location and friendly service.

In my opinion the ranking is overrated. I’m not expert in Greek cuisine but I don’t think that it is very traditional for them to use teriyaki sauce (but who knows maybe it was a fusion)))). Food was rather Indian taste than Greek)). The restaurant is very small and not really cosy. Service is very formal without a little bit extra than necessary attention to the costumers.

We had an amazing lunch at Dionisios. The food was so tasty, I was so amused with the taste, good service and friendly staff.

Excellent service. Very quaint restaurant with a nice varied menu. While the food was delicious, the portions were a little small. However, the price matched the portion so just be aware that you might want to order an extra appetizer or one of the « menus » if you are very hungry.

It is not a standard Greek quality. It doesn’t come even close. Start with the quality even if it is a small quantity. It rather is fast food than Greek food.

Maybe the best greek food we’ve ever had!

We ate here with 30% discount last night. The food was delivered quickly and very fresh and delicious. We had the sharing dips and mezze for 2 but split between 4 people with pitta breads each and a Greek salad. All great! Then shared a veggie moussaka, stuffed pepper and pork gyros. There was plenty. But considering we were the first people in the restaurant at 8pm, it took about 20 minutes to get a drink when we ordered bottles of beer that you open yourself. There was also no music for an hour or so, therefore extremely quiet with not atmosphere. However would go back for the food

A friendly crew and excellent food - we had a fantastic family meal here and really enjoyed it.

We had the tasting menu - and it was a good choice as we would have been disappointed if we’d had individual dishes. Starters were nice, mains disappointing (particularly the moussaka), desserts fine. Wine wasn’t so good. Overall I’d describe as a Spanish version of Greek. Most annoying though was being rushed throughout. The food came very quickly (a good thing in some ways) but we were being pushed to leave as soon as dessert came. In total we were there 1 hour 10 minutes! So it didn’t feel like the relaxing lingering meal we were hoping for. And this wasn’t made clear when we reserved - I’d expect it in the ‘famous’ restaurants which also tell you how long you have a table for & it’s usually more than 70 minutes. Overall, some really nice food but not sure we’d go back.
Greek-o Rico (antiguo Dionisos Huertas)Hi,First of all thank you very much for your comment, we take into account each productive comment to learn from our mistakes and improve. We want to apologize if you had the impression that we were pressuring you to leave your table, I think it must have been a misunderstanding because the reservations have 1h30 for their service, and, from what was spoken with the staff, they were not told to leave the table before, you can simply that speed put pressure on them, but that was not our intention, simply in Madrid they like fast services. We are not one of the "Famous restaurants" as you say, but when making your reservation, if you check carefully, it will indicate that your service time was from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (1:30 a.m.). Although we are not one of the "famous" ones, we have a small store and a strong demand; especially on weekends; and therefore we give time limitation to the reservation. We are sorry for the misunderstanding with your reservation and we will be delighted to receive you again.

Food was excellent. We had a late lunch and they allowed us to enjoy our meal, no rush. They were very kind. Furthermore, taste plate was delicious.

Amazing food! Everything was delicious ????

The restaurant opened late so our dinner reservation at 8:00 PM looked more like 8:15/8:20 PM. Although that was annoying, the food was delicious! We ordered the mousaka, gyro plate, and spanakopita. There is one waiter that looked like they hate their life but the rest of the staff was really nice and friendly. Try it out!

Very nice cozy restaurant. Good food, we had a starter of different little snacks and this is a good way to taste the different styles. Main dish a vegetal moussaka ( wonderfull ) and a gyros plate. Nice soft meat with a very nice tzatziki. Waiters attent and fast and explaining the food. Just all great ???? and hasta pronto!!! ????

It is a nice place with a good feel to it, but the quality of the food, especially with respet to the recommendations, was quite disappointing.

Nice greek food. The price is high

Even if the quality is not bad, the size of the portions is quite reduced compared with the other Dionisos in Chueca neighborhood and the service is more attentive there. A bit disappointing.

The staff were welcoming but the table we were shown to was in the worst location in the restaurant despite us arriving spot-on time for our reservation. For the whole of the meal, our order and subsequently our bill was confused with the table next to us. The starter (meze) was pleasant enough, though we specified that we are vegetarian and were still given two helpings of fish. The main courses again were ok, but just that, and not as authentic as we had hoped. Wine and coffee were good and the staff very friendly.

If you look for a Greek restaurant in Madrid, I would definitively recommend this one. The food is clearly worth the money. Great Greek cuisine. The only cont if one was the service (they made us rush because they had a reservation after us) and definitively the wine (it was disgusting).
