Outstanding food starters for vegetarians. It did not matter that none of the main dishes were vegetarian. They did offer vege pilaf rice with peas which we skipped. Chocolate ganache dessert was also excellent. Staff were very helpful and great service. Open kitchen & food was well spaced

Gunpowder - located on a pretty no car allowed street in Chiado is great. Their menu which changes, but also has their classics like the absolutely delicious green beans! Their imagination and execution of really tasty and interesting Indian food is wonderful. It is a fun place to sit for dinner and also to get take out and delivery. If you like Indian food- this is a fantastic option in Lisbon.

Delicious! A creative twist of food that is truly Luso-Indian. The Broccoli was outstanding, as were the artichokes. Incredibly flavorful and original - We just had small plates so I cannot speak to the rest, but I want to try the pork and some fish. Gregory and the rest of the staff were wonderful, attentive, friendly, but not intrusive. I will definitely return!

We had 4 starters and two plates to share after we asked our waitress. The chicken Tandoori was outstanding (for us) and all others were very good indeed (soft crab, lamb chop, grouper fish, etc). Service was excellent from all the team involved. It was a rainy and rather depressive night and we found the tables for two rather small ,given the amount of food we ordered and drinks we had, but somehow the service team managed to deliver them one by one and without impacting the rest of our experience.

Lovely atmosphere (real candle tapers on the table) and the couple dining next to us were delightful; they shared their prawn dish with us (they over ordered). The host who took our order was friendly and attentive; food was delicious; staff were nice. We liked it so much that we made a reservation on the spot to return.

The food selections were excellent. My wife and I I particularly enjoyed the Spicy Lamb and Vermicelli Doughnut, the Ambedi Grilled Stone Bass Fish, and the Gun Powder Chaat with Tamarind. Each dish was masterfully prepared. For dessert the Old Monk Bread and Butter Pudding with Indian Rum and Custard was superb!

I loved the entire experience, but being Portuguese, I find it a bit outrageous that with few exceptions most staff (including the front desk / RP) didn't speak Portuguese. That's the only reason why I can't score you 5/5.

The food here is SO good that we cancelled reservations at another restaurant just to get a last bite before we head to Rome. EVERYTHING is amazing. Not joking! The Tandoori chicken and shrimp were my favorite. Boys liked the lamb and green bean pakoras. Do not miss this restaurant.
