Plenty of food, goood food. 2 fixed menus, 4 glasses of wine, big bottle of spartling water and 2 coffee for 70 €

Had dinner at Gustavo recently was so good as always. The autumnal menu was all so seasonal and delicious. Will definitely be back again soon.

Excellent food - every course was a surprise. Our second visit and the food was the star of the show. We dined early in the evening (7.30pm) and it was a little quiet - so if you can delay to later there may be more people about to share your evening. But overall very good.

First thing to say (in reference to some previous reviews) is that this restaurant has a completely set menu. You are going for the experience/quality and not choice. I think some poor reviews are more about expectations than the place! We had a marvellous experience. Very authentic- surrounded by people who appeared to be locals (always a good sign) and felt very welcomed. No/very little English spoken but we got on just fine (with no/very little Italian). Service was attentive, relaxed and not slow. Food was just wonderful. Simple but incredibly flavoursome- the pork for main especially so. Would absolutely return. One of the culinary highlights of our trip thus far and one of the least expensive! Superb!!!!

Wide scope of served local food. Various meals of decent quality. Servis proffesional. Guests are released from choosing of Puglia varieties of main dish; fish or pork meat, dependant of the day you visiting the restaurant.

What a combination! Beautifully balanced menu. Quality ingredients. Exquisite cooking. Great service. I would happily have paid more

The food was good. Very good. The staff appeared sullen. Not attentive.

Overall the food was good. A bit disappointed by the first course - could have been something more sophisticated. All the entrees were good but salty, expectations were higher. The pork was the best part of the meal! Very disappointing, however, that the week before the cost of the menu was 30 and after only seven days it had changed into 35.

Magnificent, if you don’t go then I promise you will be missing out. Incredible. Can’t wait to return next time we are in Puglia.

Fantastic food at affordable "cucina povera" prices. The concept of a fixed menu, I e. there is no menu, allows Gustavo to concentrate on the quality and variation of his starters and primo piatti. Tempura fried vegetables, three tomato sugo, fig jam and cheese, all were Fantastic. and the main... pata negra pork with two types of potatoes was sublime. A do not miss recommendation.
