We booked for a Saturday at 8:15pm via Trip Advisor based on the positive reviews. I'm sure that this restaurant delivers great food and service at any other time but Saturday night. There were diners queuing up for a table but we got in faster because we booked. Extremely busy and very crowded. They tried to serve our main and starter at the same time. By the time we had eaten our starter, our mains were luke warm. Quality of the food was otherwise OK but not exceptional by any means. When we gave feedback at the end of the meal, he apologised and said it was because they were very busy. They should slow down a little and remove a couple of covers and make it more about quality than quantity.

Took ages to get our order taken, took even linger to recieve drinks, food finally came.. starters first and then our mains were just left with us aswell.. no room on the table. Food so bland, felt rushed out so they get us out to fill the table again asap. Dont go to this place based on its unrealistic goofle reviews.. this place is a 1 star and that's a push!

Very authentic little Italian restaurant in Amsterdam. There are a lot of other places around the central city area, but this place was recommended and was very good so we didn’t bother trying any others. Having travelled to many places, sometimes if somewhere is good you don’t feel like taking a risk to trying something else and be disappointed especially if you are only in a city for a few days. Great food, reasonable prices what more do you need?

We visited on New Years Eve we had booked but they were managing to sit walk ins. They were very busy however our server was so lovely and our food was very nice. Would definitely visit again.

Food not up to the mark. Not sure how they have a high rating. Couldn’t finish anything we ordered. Maybe just a bad day for the chef. Service of courteous but very slow.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Gusto Italian Restaurant in Amsterdam. We ordered a variety of dishes, including pizza, Tagliatelle al Pesto, Ravioli al Tartufo, mushroom risotto, and tiramisu. Every dish was excellent. The food was full of flavor and the portions were very generous. The pizza was especially delicious, easily one of the highlights of the meal. The pasta dishes were rich and comforting, and the mushroom risotto was perfectly cooked and satisfying. The tiramisu was unforgettable, rich, creamy, and the perfect ending to the meal. Beyond the food, the real standout was the hospitality. The server was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, making the whole experience feel personal and memorable. Great food, big portions, and outstanding service. Highly recommended.

I appreciate the quick service and attentiveness to all customers, but the food was nasty. Nothing special, the price did match the quality of taste but the crust tastes like crackers.

The food was excellent. Three of us had pizza and one had calzone. The pizzas were good quality and had a large amount of toppings. The service was chaotic. Only two pizzas and the calzone arrived and they had to take the order again for the other pizza which was then about 10 mins before it arrived. No great apologies. Another table had the wrong main arrive. They isn’t ask if we wanted desert, so we just got the bill. It was busy so would give it another chance.

Timings with food were a bit off. Second course was going to be served whilst still eating first course. Had to ask them to take it away. A lot of standing about looking unprofessional too although very pleasant when spoken to.

Huge selection and attentive service. The food came out fast, was cooked well, and tasted great. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. They have everything from pasta to steak to pizza.

Pizza was cold and not cooked. I asked for my steak to be well done and it came bloody. How can a so called Italian restaurant serve a cold pizza that was not cooked. If you want food poisoning then this is the place for you.

The worst meal ever had, staff dressed so casual didn’t feel like a restaurant and more importantly I’d hate to think what the food hygiene is like as was throwing up all throughout the night after! Don’t know if the reviews are mostly fake!!!😡 Food tasted microwaved and hardly any pasta in lasagne, 90% cheese

Took a bit to get our food. Catsup is extra $2.50?? Total bill didn't include the fork discount and when they gave the corrected bill wasn't given the right discount.. Overall food was okay. Just came from Venice and would definitely say this was not as good as Venice and a little on the high side in price.

Term and conditions are not clear as we can only redeem Discount when order drinks which are not entitled for Discount. Ordered small drinks But given large drinks. Discount given does not even Reach 30% .

The steak was so tasty. The Pasta was amazing. I was so full I could not have sweet. My eye was on the Tiramisu.. I will return for it and I hope no alcohol in it. I enjoyed that the place is fully booked and staff are friendly and nice. Very polite to everyone.

Very nice & relatively quick waiter, but he seemed to be the only one! The restaurant needs to invest in more staff. Good value for money with the discount.

This little restaurant doesn’t look anything special but looks are deceiving. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was freshly prepared, so do expect to wait for it. The wait is worth it, the food is absolutely delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Well worth a visit.

one of the worst. it is NOT italian. very bad food, it was like shit. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT PLEASE. i think the review that give a high score to this restaurant are false.
