7/10Paella was disappointing - 90% of it was rice. I ordered the mar y - it has 3 mussels, 2 prawns, 1chicken thigh and one tiny pork rib it was not value

So delicious! We ordered the arroz negro paella, paella todo pelado, paella de mar y carne and it was so good. Ambiance was nice and our waiter (forgot his name but he said he was from Venezuela) was so kind and helpful! He recommended we order croquettes and they were great! Definitely recommend!

8.5/10Food was great tasting and excellent pricing. The sangria was refreshing and not too strong as we like. The place has a historic flair which makes it fascinating. The servers were little bit rattle as many reservations were done at same time slot but they tried their best to make it work. We recommend the place.

8.5/10Very nice place, centrally at Plaza Mayor. Inside area is beautifuly decorated and spacious. Food was good but the portions were rather small. I would visit again for tapas and drinks!

A great spot for Tapas! Right on Plaza Mayor! The croquetas were superb and the pitcher of sangria was very refreshing. Waitstaff were a bit forgetful (didn’t enter our order the first time) but it wasn’t a big problem.

6.5/10We went a the time we reserved and table was ready however, and the appetizer was good chorizos a la Sidra, however the main menu was a total disaster, the rice in the Paella was hard and not well cook, no taste in the rice, the service was ok but we had to call several times to have a cup of wine, service was to slowly, we also asked for the dessert that was average and we requests the discount offered by The Fork and they refused to apply it, so try to get other places for Paella

10/10Everything about this restaurant will please you. From the outside this is an unassuming restaurant with lots of outdoor seating. However we booked an inside table, where the indoor seating is in an underground cellar, with low archways, that has been very tastfully decorated, capturing the old bricks and creating a very intimate dining experience. The indoor ambience, quiet and intimate, is totally differen to the more casual and nosier outdoor dining. Either way you will enjoy great food and service. We ordered the Paella and Cod Croquettes, which were excellent and perfectly captured the Spanish cusine we wanted.

9/10Good food, nice atmosphere. We booked our table through thefork and we were supposed to have a 30% discount which eventually wasn’t applied and I only realized that when I came home. We were distracted by our conversation so didn’t realize the waitress didn’t apply the discount, but then when I double checked the receipt at home I realized we paid the full price.

8.5/10Cozy corner in the plaza mayor . We had a reservation but I didn’t even thing to give my name about want crowded and plenty of tables to be had. The tapas was great and was perfect after walking around all morning.

Absolutely fantastic. We had the chorizo and octopus tapas to start followed by paella. The food was excellent. Best meal we’ve had in our 4 day stay in Madrid.

5/10We were very surprised with the rating, that this restaurant would serve, the top of which were basically tasteless. Particularly the prawns and mussels- no flavor.. There was no garlic,mushrooms were reheated. Disappointing and boring.

5.5/10It was my first night there I went on some online recommendations and it was in a beautiful plaza… I knew it was going to be touristy, but it was very over priced easily by 50%… I have a coupon for 30% off but then the art we argued that it was not applicable to my meal did say 30% off of food not drinks . But I think what was most disappointing was that I felt steered so wrong online the paella I got was sort of hardened over. There was one piece of seafood placed at 12 o’clock 3 o’clock 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock and that was it, and the rice tasted very Briney. The sangria was good. The waiter was very nice and patient and the plaza was beautiful but the food was an absolute miss

It was my first time using The Fork and it turned out great! The restaurant offered also good food and even desserts(that are not shown in the menu but ask for them!) Everything was delicious ????. Totally recommended
