The chef makes everything himself, including the bread. I really enjoyed the piperade with fried egg and the Tocino envuel to fechas (fig with cheese wrapped in bacon). Both incredibly good. Also had the scampi al ajillo, which was made with a garlic tomato sauce (I was expecting the traditional Spanish version with just garlic and oil). The chef also gave me tastings of the chicken croquet with cream sauce and truffles inside, and the patatas bravas with Serrano ham, which were both excellent. Portions were good sized. Three dishes plus extra tastings was more than I could eat, though I wanted to try everything on the menu. I went early for dinner by myself, and ended up chatting with the chef. Nice guy. The server was also very sweet. It was a delightful evening for a solo traveler.

9/10We had dinner with friends and had the Gran Plato Gustu, patatas bravas and pulpo a la gallega. We made a mistake when booking the table but the waiter could find a way to find us a table for 4 although the restaurant was full. That saved our night. The food was great and everyone was very friendly.

3/10This has been the worst service I’ve had in my entire life experience. I have never waited six hours for a a very poor service! Unacceptable! I would never come to this place to have dinner… very disappointed for the price paid for this fixed menu. Completely unacceptable… Whoever you are make sure to read more than one review before you come into this restaurant

8.5/10At last not your standard tapas!! Sick and tired of the albondigas makes the choice of el Jefe de Gusto al the more enjoyable. The biggest surprise was the creme brulee with goats cheese. A very nice combo of sweet and savery. The price of the menu compared to the quantity of food is great! Mind you, they do take some of that back via the wines. Very good wines come at a cost. All in all, the place to go for good tapas!

2.5/10Food was not good, also overpriced. We took the Jefe menu and were really dissapointed. There is no atmosphere, setting is cold. Had to ask 2 times to get whine. And didnt got it. We asked what was in the Jefe menu, but even the staff didnt know. We left our last round of food on the table and asked for the bill.

7/10The owner knows clearly how to make authentic spanish food. Very good Iberico Jamon dish, fresh made Aioli and the crema catalana was superb Thanks also to the owner who really came talking to us about his spanish roots and passion for cooking :)

4/10terrible service, didn’t even offer me any water! make sure you get everything you ordered as they didn’t bring out one of my dishes and I suspect I would’ve been charged for it

we always welcome feedback, whether it is good or bad. Thanks to your contribution we can improve our service. to your comment that we do not offer water, this is completely correct. in Belgium that is bought and not given for free, maybe you were not aware of this. our service has been at the table (or in your case at the bar) several times to ask if anything was desired. maybe it's a tip to respond to their question in the future and that little problem with the ceviche can be solved faster. I have no problem solving problems, but mischievous azerty knights don't help me.
