The ambience ist very nice. The waiters are very kind. The food is vegan, but in the in description it is declared Vegetarian. We were very disappointed with the Risotto. It was not with aglio olio con peperioncino. All over it looked like a big rice pie.

If I could I would give the food more then 5 stars, even though it is vegetarian. The autumn caponata was one of the best things I ate since a long time. I would definitely return next time im in Ortegia.

On an island where the food can be very mediocre tourist fare, this restaurant is a remarkable exception. The food was innovative and unbelievably tasty. The view on the terrace overlooking the sea was magical. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Also, very good margaritas.

Our meal at Gutkowskino was a highlight of our time on Siracusa. The vegetarian food was delicious and made with passion and care. The staff were lovely and the ambience was really special. We sat on the terrace and watched as the light faded over the sea. My wife had the risotto with finger lime and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was! Thank you for a lovely meal.

It should be more clear that this is a vegetarian / Vegan restaurant. The mention of just “Italian” is misleading. That said the vue from the terrace and the service were great.

Smaller portions probably because of the discount. It is ok to do so but should then be advertised accordingly. Service was ok. Personal a little snobbish and looks like they do not want to belong there. The food taste was good. Very different. Ambient was very good.

Really lovely food, we are not vegetarian but totally enjoyed all six dishes we had. Complements to the chef 👌Beautiful rooftop setting beside the sea, very friendly helpful waiter in a really relaxed setting away from crowded street's but within very easy walking distance, only a few minutes from the centre. Totally reccomend 💯.

Truly exceptional: our second time in Ortigia and at the end of a 10 night stay we booked here at the last minute. I wish we had gone sooner! Fresh, innovative cooking with well priced wine in a lovely setting (we dined on the roof terrace overlooking the sea). Wonderful

Chef has decided on fully vegetarian menu at the moment which is not flagged up clearly. Starters were great but one main we had to send back as the twice cooked onion was rock hard. Staff were great and service good. Fine to put some vegetarian dishes on the menu but given its location and reputation should always have seafood options available.

The restaurant at the Gustowski hotel is great. The food is original and tasteful. The freshness of the seafood and the tenderness of all the ingredients is superb. It is a must if you visit Ortigia!

Ive eaten in many restaurants in Siracusa, and the chef here the best! Really inventive, delicious dishes. And the servers are really freindly, everyone is. Also the terrazza is a nice quiet retreat from Siracusas busy streets. Definitely recommend

My husband had dinner our last night in Ortigia. We loved the small menu with traditional Italian dishes we’d never heard of! We each had 2 courses and it was all delicious! The upstairs deck is lovely with a nice breeze off the water and the service was attentive without being intrusive.

So close to perfect. Incredible ambience, service and most of the food was delicious. We started with a really interesting bread salad. It had all of the flavors that one might expect from a bread salad with a smaller crumb, not larger pieces of bread. This allowed the vinegar, olive oil and tomatoes to spread across each tiny piece of bread and sustain texture. I followed with a lemony gemelly pasta dish which was incredibly rich and lemon buttery. Then moved on to a sea bass dish which was perfect and one of the best things I ate in Ortigia. My partner had a pasta dish that was infused with anchovies and, as described salty and briny. We finished with a good tasting panna cotta which unfortunately suffered from a poor texture. Having said that, everything else was great but the service was excellent.
