7.5/10The staff was really nice and friendly. The Portuguese steak was very good but the octopus felt a bit too cooked. Its skin was peeling away and it wasn't ferm.

10/10The food was amazing. In a back street off the main road, the restaurant was beautiful and it was lovely to sit outside on a warm evening watching the swallows dart and dive. The staff were warm and friendly, the food was amazing and great sangria.

4/10We really looked forward to our meal but the pricey cataplana we had was so disappointing. The clams were full of sand and spoiled the rest of the dish. Our order was also "accidentally" doubled up to serve 4 instead of 3 people. Please note: they do not accept cards. This unpleasant surprise was discovered only at time of payment. We then had to scurry around to get cash. A tiny sign inside (we were seated outside) was pointed out to us after we complained. Would not recommend and wouldn't rush back.

9/10Really nice traditional Algarve food! Portion is great and make sure to book if you want to have dinner otherwise will just have to sit outside which can be quite chilly if is not the summer

10/10Very cozy little place with amazing food and friendly and funny staff. I had a lunch there before going to the airport and going home but I would definitely go there for evening meal, the atmosphere must be amazing. Absolutely recommending, the food tastes like heaven.

7/10We found the food sauce lacked any depth for the vegetarian dish and the meat dish was just ok. It was also not comfortable for us, with the inside restaurant table being too cold, and quite a few two person tables seating at right angles around the edge of the room, with one or both people facing the wall. It may work better for a group than for a couple. To balance this review though, the place seemed popular with other diners, with a few around us booking return visits. The service was very friendly and good.

10/10Fabulous seafood cataplana, lovely bottle of Red wine served by a very attentive waiter who was taking care of everyone on his own with a smile and great attitude. Lovely authentic Portuguese restaurant. We will return.

+1Very good restaurant and recommended. Tapas: pork cheeks is excellent, the filled mushroom was nice despite missing some flavour intensity. Main was "Bife à Portugesa" which was cooked in a very tasty medium point, but extremely unfortunately one of the beefs had lots of tissue which was quite unpleasant (while the other was perfect). PS: Their little potatoes that come with many dishes, are also very very good.

7/10Very good and attentive service. Unfortunately the food was nothing special: some of the dishes were not hot and lacked taste. For example camarão alhado didn’t have much taste of garlic and the oil ( azeite?) gave the sensation of being old. Have to say that we’ve eaten much tastier food in the eastern Algarve.

9.5/10Food and service was amazing. Local dishes with spectacular flavour. We were charged for water and starters that we did not order, but it was worthy. In summer it's hot inside as local do not have AC. 100% recommendable
