10/10We tried the Savanna Specials for two at Habesha, and it was wonderful! The injera (Ethiopian flatbread) was perfect, and all the dishes were delicious, especially the Doro Wat (spicy chicken) and Misir Wot (lentils). The portions were generous, and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend this place for a true taste of Ethiopia!

6/10It was an interesting experience. The waiter mentioned that the menu prices were not correct and we had to add a few euros to each dish. We asked for white wine (not on the menu) and they said that was possible. A ten minute wait and they came with a small supermarket bottle each - needed ice, which was quickly brought. Waiters were very nice. The food was good, but not outstanding and quite small portions of everything. Not a problem as we received a lot of pancake type breads to eat the fillings with, so we didn't leave hungry. Eating with our hands was fine, though would have been nice to have a finger bowl to wash our hands.

6.5/10We were 4 friends and we ordered the special dish for 4 persons that costs 65 euros . The food was delicious but we were disappointed by the quantity . The quantity is not made for 4 persons and does not seem a lot compared to the price we have paid . The waiter didn’t speak English very well so he couldn’t understand our feedback. Nevertheless the place has a nice atmosphere and Eritrean beer is a must try !

Thanks for the comment, im suprised it wasnt enough, since most groups cannot finish this. U had to communicate in the restaurant because afterwards we cannot do anything for u Hope u enjoyed have a good day

10/10we had an amazing dish and introduction to the food presented. The lady helping was sweet and took care we had everything we needed. At the moment there’s a bit of construction in front of the door. But don’t let that hold you back. Enjoy!

7/10Food is delicious but i wonder, was I LOST IN TRANSLATION? Three of us arrived. Ordered a tonic & an ice tea, got 2 ice teas. Asked for a knife to cut the one boiled egg and the mini chicken leg (borrel hapje size) and the knife was taken away after we cut the egg. Ordered the combination platter for 2 - which was delicious tasting menu - but paid for the 4 person combi platter (???). As we were leaving we noticed 2 guys eating a platter with a pancake piled with 2 kinds of meat. They showed us how to tear the pancake, dip, scoop and wrap to form a kinda dumpling to pop in your mouth. Habesha Savanna serves the real deal Ethiopian, cause the natives eat here. The Ethiopian beer is delicious too. It was our fault for not double checking or correcting the order, make sure you do. Will definitely return, The Hague needs more authentic exotic cuisines to broaden the cultural palette.

3/10Food itself is more bland than other Ethiopian restaurants. Mango beer we got there did not taste like Mango beer, it might have been something else like a stout. There is no entrees and no desserts. It was very cheap however.
