9/10The restaurant was quiet. The waiters were nice. The dishes are quite big. The tomato soup is very good. The wienerschnitzel is also good. As the chocolate tart.

8/10Quick friendly service, good food...the main meals have big portions. Great place to grab a meal before catching the train from Utrecht and with the 20% off it makes it real value for money.

8.5/10We reserved a table for 9 persons and from the very beginning we had a great experience with Hagenouw. upon arrival we were greeted very friendly by the gentleman who we think is the owner but not so sure. As we had a musical booked at the theater next door, the hotel staff took care of a quick service - very concious of our plans. We went there because of location convenience and did not have much high expectations on the food but they really surprised us. We choosed 3 courses and all items were well presented and very savoury. The young waiter (gentleman but we forgot his name) went the extra mile to make us feel really comfortable and is a real asset to any restaurant keeper. Thank you for making our evening such a wonderful experience. When we book our next event at the Theater we will definitely have dinner again at Hanegouw.
