Such a nice guy

Second visit to this superb bistro which is all about French cheeses and meats… paired with lovely wine although beer is available. Two delightful sharing boards were ordered and we all gave the different cheeses and meats a go … what a treat! Would defo go back … the young waiter speaks English too (thank you !)

It’s a lovely experience and great value. The proprietor is very kind and explains your platter and wine pairings extremely well. He is attentive without being bothersome and the value is superb bearing in mind the quality of the charcuterie and cheese. Oh the cheese!! Amazing.

Wonderful selection of cheeses and meats on a platter, and fine desserts. All topped off with fab wine selections and really friendly/helpful staff. A unique experience!

Amazing array of cheese. The owner was very knowledgeable and attentive, preparing us a mixed sharer of cheese and meats. He described them all and the selection was delicious. Great wine recommended too. Excellent value for the quality and service.

On our previous visit we wanted to eat here but time didn’t allow. Luckily we made a reservation on a very busy holiday weekend here in France with glorious weather. Our server was excellent explaining everything clearly to us. The food was presented exceptionally and we loved all the selections. Fabulous lunch

A wonderful way to end our holiday. The owner was friendly and very knowledgeable about the huge array of cheeses and meats - the complimentary glass of wine was a lovely surprise and the whole cost extremely reasonable. Will go again if we are in the area

Great choice of cheese and charcuterie. Lovely wine and fantastic to have it by the glass. Lovely ‘waiter’ and great service. Also liked being able to buy cheese.

Martyn is a fabulous host! His is relaxed, engaging and helpful. He really knows about wine, cheese and meat and makes for an amazing time for his guests. We had so much fun at Hermann. Please go, it’s amazing.

Very friendly welcome. Relaxed atmosphere. Cheese and meat platter was exceptional. 10 different cheeses with a huge variety of taste. Nice selection of meat to compliment cheese. Good selection of wine. Fair price If we pass this way again we will call in

Delightful little restaurant. Charcuterie plate was amazing and the accompanying wines were spot on. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely meal.

This place carries a wide range of artisan cheeses and cold cuts and a good selection of wines. They are passionate about their ingredients and where they come from. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch break there.

Lovely, cosy place. Superb wines! And not to forget the nice platters. Been here a couple years back, but still very nice. Our waiter set the vibe good.
