A very nice small restaurant with excellent food. Tasting menue as well as a la carte. We had the tasting menue (4 course) and we were definitely not hungry anymore at the end of the evening. Restaurant was fully booked (52 people) so noise level was on the high side, which took any a bit of the atmosphere. It also caused the 3 servers to be extremely busy, without any time for small talk or a bit of explanation of the food. Guess I would surely come back, but would prefer an evening less busy.

We had a great evening dinner outdoors. Very attentive service, great menu choices and affordable but good wine selection. we really enjoyed it!

Wonderful hidden gem. Simple concise yet sophisticated menu with excellent dishes, some choices for multi course meals, wine pairings (either full or ‘Bob’ size) - or just a la carte. Great friendly service. Need to book well in advance for the weekend.

We had such a unpleasant experienced on Valentine’s Day in Binnenhof Goes! The moment we stepped into the restaurant with 2 kids ages 8 and 5 all eyes were on us from the staff including 2 chefs at the counter no smile, no greetings and a sharp looked! Seems want to chased us away but we proceeded anyway. We asked if we could order ala carte for the kids, straightforwardly the waitress said no! they only had a Valentine’s menu on that day she said! as if the kids do not eat on Valentine’s Day! and we were told that they will serve in smaller portion instead but my kids were served same amount as us,. It was a 5- course menu! Imagine? Not until when they’re clearing the table they saw the almost the untouched foods from the kids plates and that prompted them to serve a very small portion of fries( which was not in the menu) so that means they had other foods stored in the kitchen but just refused on serving them. We have never been into a restaurant that is so inflexible and so unfriendly to kids. Another unacceptable way of service was serving a dish on a hot plate without informing the kids that “be careful it’s hot” as every restaurant does. So the kids we’re shocked from the heat when they touched them! And we have to beg for the ice cream for the kids as it was not in the menu. Nevertheless, I couldn’t fault the gegrilde grietfilet, it was delicious! But we will never step foot into this restaurant ever again even if it’s gratis! And by the way, kids were charged as the adults. So if you wonder, why it took me almost a month to pen down my comments here, it’s because I have never had such a bad service experienced in a restaurant similar to this, and being one from the same industry before this should not be tolerated.

Het Binnenhof manages to balance exceptional service and spectacular food with a relaxed, easy atmosphere. We loved everything about it, including the staff's tolerance of our bad Dutch! We are already planning how we can make a return visit.
