10/10Small cosy restaurant. Excellent food and the waiter was great. Very friendly and welcoming. Can recommend the duck and chocolate dessert, escargot also very good!

9.5/10We were greeted warmly and seated by the gentleman running the dining room. He took time to make us feel welcome and at ease with his witty comments, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. The food quality is excellent and a good value for the price. We had a great dinner and will gladly come back.

9/10The best dinner in Amsterdam in four days. Food cooked very well, nice atmosphere. The place is cozy. The service is a bit less so, but tolerable given an excellent chef. Prices are appropriate.

9.5/10The restaurant was intimate and had a nice relaxed vibe, it was easy to talk and enjoy each others company. The service was friendly and helpful and left you be unless needed. The food was the highlight for both of us, starters and mains were both excellent and we would really recommend visiting for the food alone!

9.5/10Very nice restaurant. Maybe the setting is a bit simple, but there is plenty of room for the tables (not too close together like in many other places). Therefore not noisy at all. Of course the food: very good!

Best Mr Teeuwen, That sounds like a great dining experience! It's wonderful to find a restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, spacious seating, and delicious food. Having enough room between tables can certainly contribute to a more relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. When the noise level isn't overwhelming, it allows for better conversation and a more comfortable ambiance. Overall, it seems like you had a positive experience, both in terms of the restaurant's setting and the quality of the food. Greets chef stuivertje.

10/10A cozy place with high quality food. The gambas were amazing! We got the meat plates and everything was really tasty with a nice presentation and you could see good quality. It might be a bit expensive for some pockets, considering we didnt order wine, we got the discount from the fork and we paid 40 per person (with dessert). Thank you, we will come back!

10/10We had a wonderful dinner here! Rachid was very gracious, friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious! Also in a great walking part of town in the canal district -- it was a short walk from our hotel (Andaz). Strongly recommend!

The host at Het Stuivertje always ensures you have a great time and an excellent dinner. The dishes are curated with care and great expertise - absolutely delicious. Looking around the restaurant, everyone looks just delighted to be there and to be enjoying their meals. 7.5/10Ravioli were really good, but this variation of pesto (fried ?!) Isn't the best souce I tasted. Nobody asked me for the stage of cooking of lamb, so it was a little bit with blood, but really yummy to me.

10/10Absolutely DELICIOUS food, friendly prompt service, clean, simple, elegant, intimate atmosphere. The menu was small and yet focused - everything looked interesting, Even the vegetarian items peaked my interest and sounded like delicious options. I had the Escargot -it was PERFECTLY seasoned served with delicious bread to sop up every bit of the sauce YUM! Beet root salad was fresh and a delightful medley of textures. I had the beef stew prepared with Belgian beer and it was tender, flavorful, rich and hearty. My partner had the steak - also perfectly tender and prepared exactly as he liked with delicious mushroom sauce. Apple pie was tart yet sweet - more complex in flavor than your ordinary apple pie and my partner had the "4 bites" which was a sampling of 4 different sweets. A wonderful little sweet chocolate symphony - some with nuts, some with citrus. The staff was very relaxed, cheerful and helpful. The servers knew everything about the food and were very informative and able to describe everything in English and of course in Dutch. Here you can see the focus is on the quality and flavors of the food accompanied by an extensive and outstanding wine menu... I will definitely be returning!

7.5/10Very charming, traditional restaurant in the Jordaan. We had a wonderful three-course dinner here with a couple of nice wines. The food was good, although we found a couple of the dishes to be simple considering the higher prices, but the quality was very good. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
