Elegant and cozy atmosphere with excellent food. Chef came around to every table a couple times to ensure all was good. Would highly recommend.

Decent German food, but not excellent as expected. The best place is the old fashioned pub style part in front, but we had to sit in the more modern part in the hotel, which is has far less charm.

We had dinner on 24/11/2022. The dinner was very good and the service very nice, high quality, the only ‘but’ is the location, takes more than 10 min in a taxi from the center. Other than that everything is great

This restaurant is linked to its hotel, but it is actually full of locals dining - the reason is clear. Seriously good food served by caring staff in pleasant surroundings. The senior kitchen staff and chef come and talk with the guests answering any questions, and this is a measure of how much care they take in their craft. Thanks so much to 'Hirschen in Lehen'. We will visit again when we pass through Freiburg.

Nice little restaurant with a seasonal menu as well as more temporary local options. Service was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. If you are early you can also have a drink at the bar. As it was summer we had a nice drink on the terrace of the hotel.

We had a wonderful experience last night. The wait staff, the ambiance, the quality of the food were all outstanding. Thank you for the excellent service! Our son's 18th birthday could not have been celebrated at a better restaurant.
