A nearly unparalleled Brussels experience of excellence in service and gastronomy from start to finish. We were four, well-travelled foodies and we simply were not expecting what awaited us. Stunningly great flavor profiles all beautifully presented and charmingly served.

We had a perfect lunch experience at Hispania Brussels. The fixed lunch menu was delicious with choices on starter and entree, paired with a perfect glass of wine. Our server, Rudolph, was knowledgeable and friendly making our lunch experience first class. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Really amazing food, the best I had in Brussels up to now, and I have been living here for eight years. Perfect steak, and I loved the Expresso Martini gourmand for dessert :-)

+1A dinner to remember. I booked to celebrate my fiancée's birthday and although we had heard good things about the place, they had fallen short. Everything we ordered tasted like home (two Spaniards living in Brussels for some time now). Very good, and with exquisite mixes. Without a doubt the best of all was the service: thanks to Rodolfo and Telmo for their attention, they made the dinner excellent and, once again, made us feel at home. The icing on the cake was when they found out it was my girlfriend's birthday and put a candle in a sweet and sang happy birthday to her. Thanks also to Javier, owner of the restaurant, who had a detail with us that we will not forget. We promise to come back and, of course, to rave about such a great place.

La comida era deliciosa. Nos sentimos como en casa de amigos en el norte de España! Excellent cuisine! One of my favourite spots in Brussels! It is situated in a hotel but it doesn't matter! Very kind and professional team. Senor Telmo! Thank you very much.

I’ve been here already few times. This one I was a bit disappointed thus. The food was ok but not as good as last year; the service has improved but there is still room for improvement considering that the prices are high (I believe even higher than last year). It is overall still a very good restaurant with a large and interesting menu but for the price I expect something more.

I did not go as I made the reservation for one of my colleagues. I'm sure it's great as my colleague has excellent taste for restaurants.

The food quality was very good and products fresh. Alfonso the waiter very good, took care of whole restaurant but sometimes a bit forgetful. Ambience very relaxed, a small compact restaurant.

Excellent food & service for lunch today. Strongly recommend Zamburiñas and Calamares as entries (pulpo is ok). Black rice and the other oven baked rice with salmonetes as main dish are excellent. For the best experience go better when there are less customers during lunch time and ask the entries to be delivered one after the other, not all at once. We will return for sure to Hispania

The best value for money restaurant in Brussels. The same price as in any restaurant, but with michelin star quality. The best thing is the service. The waiters are very professional and the dishes come out at the perfect time.

Brussels has many great restaurants, unfortunately, this was not one of them. After staying several nights in the hotel, we decided to try Hispania. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that the restaurant does not function well. There is no hostess, no bartender. Instead, one server running around and trying her best. Two “managers” just kind of slugging around with the server running laps around them. Needless to say, this lead to long gaps in service. The octopus starter was cooked perfectly, and the lamb was also great quality. However, that was it. Amuse bouche was lazy. Mushroom croquettes seems like the exact mushroom soup from the amuse, just fried. Steak was ordered medium-rare and sent back when it came close to well done. The replacement steak was rare at best and very chewy, not rested. The side dish to the lamb was some sort of vegetable salad with potato purée. The puree however, had so much xanthum gum that it felt more like glue than potato. Te his restaurant is recommended by Michelin, but with no star. Which is generous, considering how backward this restaurant is for the HEFTY price tag. A true Michelin experience should seem flawless. This dinner seemed to be mostly comprised of flaws. Really too bad

Once again I had a wonderful time at Hispania Brussels. After all these years, the service is still amazing, the food is still delicious and the place marvelous. I couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable time than I had at Hispania last evening. Go check it out yourself!

The food is good. However, it is overpriced for what it is. The service should be improved. We were amazed to see the maître d’hôtel coming to our table to take the POS machine while I was paying as the restaurant was on fire and this was the fire extinguisher. I haven’t experienced this again. The place is nice but there was a smell of fried products in the room and even more pronounced in the lobby area. This is unacceptable for a hotel with a professional kitchen. All in all, when you pay more than 100€ per person, without a dessert, you expect something better.
