Had an amazing birthday meal with my mum which was concluded with a surprise dessert with fireworks for her birthday. food was amazing, service very personal and great and although Tuesday is a quiet night, the ambiance makes you forget the fact that it is quiet. We will be back!

The staff is friendly and the food is alright, but the service was incredibly slow. Several times our sauces or drinks ran out, but no staff was around to ask. One time we even had to go up to the bar to ask someone. It gets tiring to having to flag down waiters at least 4 times during one dinner because they’re not paying attention to your drinks or whether your meal is complete (it wasn’t). We spent over 2,5 hours in the restaurant because it took ages between the courses. After starters it took an hour for our mains to arrive. Then it took ages for someone to clear the table, then again half an hour for desserts to come. In the end the bill was over €100 for starters, mains and dessert for 2 people. Relatively expensive for what it was. I’m especially disappointed that we came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and I specially asked if they could do something nice for them during reservation, but nothing was done or even acknowledged during our dinner. All in all we won’t be coming back. We also thought the place would have much more ambiance according to the photos, but we believe those are pics taken in their Amsterdam branche.

A good Indian restaurant with yummy food and a good staff. We wanted a little more spice in our food and they immediately made the change and topped up our half eaten dal makhani with a little more spice. Ras malai was extremely good and we had it twice.
