Delicious food and great service

When we wanted to pay, they charged us full price for some foods and when I asked why, she told me Chinese special food are not discounted but she didn’t tell us this at the first place !!!

The staff are friendly, helpful and the food is delicious. It's a great restaurant and one not to be missed.

We ordered from the special Chinese menu and were informed that the 20% discount from the fork booking would not apply. Some dishes were delicious but nothing special. The portion was modest.

The food was great. We all ate most of it. So what we didn't eat we asked for doggy bags and took home. Just one downside, I wanted just a ball of caramel ice cream but was told they didn't have any, I really didn't want a large dessert so just had coffee. Over all we had a great meal and will go again.

The dishes were up to standard, cantonese vibes, dishes are not drenched in soup or sauces which make them palatable to caucasians.

An up and coming chinese restaurant in Lausanne. Hope they maintain the positive slope!

The fork offer only applied to a small part of the menu, which was not a good starting point for the dinner. The food was not authentic Chinese, but we anyway ended up paying 50 chf per person (with no offer) for a very simple dinner with 1 water and 1 beer. Will not go again.

Fantastic food, and excellent service. The couple was warm and welcoming. Very patient and courteous during service. Didnt feel like it was my first time eating there. Definitly would visit to try their other dishes.

We have been fans of hong yan for a while now. Their dishes are freshly made and the menu is very well organized for you to navigate. The place has vintage/retro vibes. I would definitely recommend the house cocktail, the one that we had was with lychee and it had a deep sweet and vanilla-like flavour. Although we had to wait 5 minutes before we were greeted by the staff, they were attentive and pleasant. Overall for authentic Chinese food Hong Yan is a must.

The food is tasty and good amount! I made a reservation with 50% off and for that price it was really good quality-price rate! The service is very nice and the lady was lovely! It was mother day and we even got a lovely rose from the restaurant! I recommend!

The staff was so nice, smiling and really well welcomed us. The food was delicious, worth the wait. Doggy back accepted. The only negative point is the location, because they arent many place to park.

Food was really nice, but the portions were a bit small. Had the impression that this was due to the discount received when reserving. Would come back though, as the food was really nice!

My friend and I had a great dinner time. Gambas, fish with chilli oil, fried shrimps are all delicious. For dessert, we had deep fried ice cream and ice cream with baileys, which are also nice. We will definitely go back there again.
