10/10We went for lunch with friends and our families, and it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is incredible – a beautifully restored farmhouse surrounded by the peaceful Umbrian countryside. The staff was very attentive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. The food was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. We started with two generous platters of local cold cuts and cheeses, followed by delicious pasta dishes – the truffle fettuccine and carbonara tortelloni were truly outstanding. We also shared a succulent pork roast-beef, perfectly cooked and tender. All of this was paired with an excellent Rosso di Montefalco, which complemented the meal beautifully. A wonderful place to relax, enjoy authentic flavors, and spend quality time in great company. Highly recommended!

10/10The food was great . The ambiance was outstanding and the service was exceptional. We came to Umbria for a 4 week vacation and this was our best meal by far.

10/10I have been to Todi several times and have had the opportunity to try almost every restaurant in the area. Hortus was the best for the quality of the food and products, many of them km0. Highly recommended.

7/10We loved the look and feel of Hortus. The appetizers (zuppa di zucca and uova con tartufo) were first rate, as was the dessert (tarte tatin). One main course (ribeye steak) was spot on, but the other (corona di manzo) lacked flavor, the potatoes were lukewarm, and he sweet and sour onions were disappointing. Service was affable and began quite well but faded as the restaurant filled. That said, the owner apologized for the slowness (personnel issue) and gave us a discounted price. Hortus has and inventive menu and is in our neighborhood in a lovely location. We will go again.

10/10We had an amazing evening at the restaurant. Giuseppe and momma the chef greeted us and treated us like family, sending us home with a load of fresh delicious bread. We had the beef and rabbit cooked in CBT and both so tender and flavourful. We loved their olive oil so much we bought 2 bottles to take back to Canada. We highly recommend this restaurant
