7/10I read a review where someone said the lasagna was amazing! I had my heart set on it but the server told me that they don’t have lasagna so I picked ravioli instead. I was expecting a great Italian dish, but I should’ve known something was wrong when they brought chopsticks to the table. This ravioli was made with wonton wrappers. My husband ordered the servers recommended favorite and he wasn’t impressed either. The atmosphere was beautiful and the service was okay considering the language barrier. I would say the experience was special, but our food was not unfortunately.

10/10Just an outstanding meal with our family. From the complimentary car ride up to the outstanding welcome appetizer, the gnocchi, pastas and pizza were fantastic. Service was excellent. Highly recommend.

10/10Hidden gem! This place was recommended to us and it definitely lived up to all the amazing reviews! The staff and service were outstanding. Professional and friendly. The chef welcomed us and helped us with parking. The food was the best we have had in Almalfi coast!

10/10My fiancee and I went there for our anniversary and it's the best restaurant we've eaten at! The service was amazing, they had a driver pick us up to & from the hotel to the restaurant for free and both our waitresses were amazing! The food was delicious, probably the best meat we've had. We even got a courtesy entree and sparkling drink. I would say this is €€-€€€ so for a special dinner it's great.

8.5/10The food was excellent and the ambience was quiet and, if it was daylight, the view would have been fantastic. The restaurant is high on the mountain overlooking the Amalfi coast. An added bonus was a free shuttle from our hotel in Amalfi (though you should plan to tip the driver because 1) a taxi would cost at least 35 Euros each way and 2) like any ride through the narrow and curvng strreets in the hills around the Amalfi Coast, the drive is challenging. I rated the service a 3 out of 5 only because I did not want that rating to detract too much from my overall rating. It's a small restaurant and they had only two servers (one of whom was new, I believe) and one bartender with an unfriendly demeanor who did not seem to give much of himself to assist the servers. A large group came into the restaurant when my wife and I were about halfway through our meal. From that point onward, it was a struggle to get any attention, to say the least. Getting the check to pay when we were finished was an incredible ordeal. Even after we got up from our table after waiting at least 15 minutes after first asking for the check, and thogh I could see the more experienced server preparing our bill, it still took another 5-10 minutes to present it to me for payment. Still, i would attribute this to the unfortunate circumstances of understaffing and the untimely (for us and, perhaps, the servers) arrival of a large party that appeared to be some important people. I recommend that you give this restaraunt a try because the chef's preparations alone are worth the trip.

10/10Me and my wife are celebrating our 4 year with this trip to Italy, and this restaurant has exceeded our expectations! Interesting but delicious twist on traditional Italian, but some of the best food we’ve had since arriving. Definitely recommend!!

10/10It’s not easy to get around in Amalfi and this restaurant definitely deserves all the effort to get there. There is nothing that is of mediocre quality at the restaurant.

10/10We enjoyed all of the food. They shine in their attention to details from the quality of the bread and olive oil to the way they plate a dish. We had The Noodle pasta and the Aphrodisiac steak and they were delicious and full of wonderful flavors. The restaurant offers a private car service that took us from our hotel in Amalfi to the Hostaria and back to our hotel.

7.5/10We had a very good meal here. The printed menu was not temporarily unavailable so we had to view it on our phones using a QR code which made it a bit tricky to navigate, but once our food arrived it was all very good. Between our party we had a mixed starter, pizza, chicken dish, lamb and risotto. The beetroot risotto and lamb were particularly good. Only saw one waitress but she was very helpful. The only thing lacking the night we were there I would say was the ambience, it seemed very quiet in there. I think maybe it was just unfortunate that when we were there as a family the other dinners were all very quiet couples so there wasn’t much lively chatter but that is not restaurant’s fault. We still had a very nice evening.

10/10This was easily one of the best restaurants I have ever attended. The service was amazing and the food was exquisite. My waitress Julia was very attentive and patient. The meal I had was called La Tagliata and I was very impressed. Wish I could have thanked the cook.

8.5/10We had two good pizzas - although not typically “Neapolitan type” - and one steak (very tender), The location is nice, but simple, steaks are shown in the glass fridge. It’s few kms from Amalfi, the restaurant has luckily some parking slots. Prices are not cheap but adequate to the quality.

10/10Service was exceptional. The little extras were awesome. The little greeting appetizer and the lemon cello at the end of the meal were a really nice touch.. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is top notch. The food was outstanding. I will proudly recommend this restaurant to anyone that I meet staying at the Grand Excelsior hotel and it is only a 10 minute walk

10/10This restaurant is a hidden gem, which will not disappoint. The selection of different type of steaks will be talked through with you and the chef and then cooked on an open fire. One word of advice go hungry!

10/10This place was EXCELLENT! I wish we discovered it sooner. The chef & staff were incredible and so sweet. The veal ceviche was one of the best things I have ever eaten, and I am a major foodie. I can’t say enough good things, next time I come back Pogerola I am coming back 100%!
