this was our 2nd time in the hosteria, we loved the food and atmosphere the 1st time, came back and weren't disappointed. thank you del Bricco team!!!

It all looks and feels a bit tired. Staff is kind enough, but food seems heated up (ready in a few minutes) and staff sitting in the back busy with their mobile phones. Cheery music does not match the atmosphere.

This is one of my favorite places in Florence (if not my favorite). It's quiet and in a great neighborhood. The people there are warm and proud of the family recipes that have been passed down through generations (as they should be!) Absolutely delicious flavors.

Very romantic and warm space. Seems family owned, and very friendly. We loved the food and wine :) beware that 1/2 or 1/4 of the wine refers to 1/2 a liter or 1/4 a liter not 1/2 or 1/4 a glass of wine

Best food. Best service. Best ambience in Florence

The food is amazing. During our stay in Florence we went there twice. The service is outstanding and everything on the menu is delicious!

Our server was attentive, informed and gracious. We loved hearing the story of the restaurant (3 generations!). Will always remember our meal there.

We had a wonderful experience in this authentic Hosteria. Great food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

Both of us had red meat dishes and they were fabulous!

Food was tasty and good value for money.

Food was very good probably best tiramisu we’ve ever had. Service is typical old school Italian, two plus hour dinner but no need to rush.

Everything from start to finish was perfect. Very thankful that I made this reservation for me and my wife. Service was great and the food was so good. We shared some soup, pasta, and a beef dish. And of course we had to get some dessert too. Thank you Hostaria del Bricco for being one of our most memorable and best meals of our Italy trip!

Terrific evening and the food was amazing, especially the sformato di zucchini. Also I don’t think there was a single tourist in the place, so local, so delicious.

what an amazing and awesome dîner for the new year eve night. we loved the atmosphere and the traditional look of a real hosteria. the menu was off the hook and the service was so kind and gentle. they could have installed way more people for this dinner but they decided to keep it low key and family home one we did really appreciated this. a must place to visit if you want to have a traditional look and taste of the Florentine food. thanks a lot

Based on reviews we were really looking forward to going to this restaurant but we were really disappointed. The service was extremely slow, server was uninterested in answering our questions as if we didn’t belong there. food was not good, we had two appetizers and 4 entrees, only one appetizer was good, the rest was tasteless and underwhelming. Maybe a very bad day for them as it was a bad night for us.

Wonderful atmosphere and staff. Food was delicious and authentic

Out of the way (other side of the river) restaurant with lovely ambiance and good food. The penne with mushroom, bacon and truffle was really enjoyable, as was the braised beef in wine sauce. The pork in orange sauce was less inspired. Next time I'd like to try the stuffed rabbit and roast pork (which they were out of tonight).

Hand crafted dishes and combinations like none I've ever experienced, consumed in a 300-year old setting. Other than the bread being a "meh", this wonderful family business kept up for generations deserves your patronage

Superb food, excellent service, authentic surroundings - all spoilt at the end of the evening by having our bill unceremoniously dumped on the table. In Italy, it has always been our experience and belief that the diner requests the bill once they are ready to leave.

This restaurant offers great value for money. Overall, I was quite pleased, but next time, I would recommend ordering a bottle of wine instead of the house wine.

Had a wonderful dinner here with colleagues and everyone left happy. The food was excellent and the menu was full of choices that seemed like they came from a family cookbook - one had the beef braised in Sangiovese sauce, one had stuffed rabbit, and my cacciatorre di pollo was simple and excellent. There was not a forkfull left on anyone’s plate. The setting was rustic and authentic. This is now on my list for Florence.

+1Cozy restaurant in the heart of Florence, with an earthy touch. The truffle penne pasta was delicious and the slowed cook beef was rich in flavour. We tried both tiramisu and pannacotta, both delicious we couldn’t pick a fav

Attentive service and cosy restaurant! Thé penne with peas, mushrooms and bacon was excellent but the braised beef was way too salty.

The best food we ate in Florence. Everything was delicious and tasted homemade, not covered in butter or oil like you get in other restaurants. Authentic Italian and so delicious. We would definitely come back here!

We really enjoyed our dinner. We had a delicious Tuscan Vegetable soup and two very tasty pasta dishes, one with meat sauce and then other with broccoli, tomatoes and spicy sauce. We shared and they complimented each other. The house wine was good! Server was very attentive even though he was very busy attending to numerous guests . Highly recommend!

It was a beautiful family run local restaurant with 30+ years of history. The food was amazing!

Traditional food, exactly what we wanted. Everything we tried was fresh and perfectly cooked.

One of the nicest places in Florence, real Florence traditional food. Very nice service, very fair prices. I would gladly recommend it!

Cute little spot at the base of M. Angelo viewpoint of the city. Whatever you do, get the peas there. So darn good. I would go back just get a plate of peas haha.

Authentic gem! Great food and service

This is a gem of a restaurant. I’ve come to Florence three years in a row and have come to this restaurant five times. The crostini is amazing, most people order it. This time, we had chicken cacciatore and pasta with duck sauce and they were equally delicious. It’s simply a wonderful place in a wonderful city. The people than work there make you feel like family.

The food was excellent! One of the best meals we had in Florence. We loved the atmosphere too. It was a perfect spot for the birthday dinner we had after watching the sunset up the hill.
