10/10Terrific evening and the food was amazing, especially the sformato di zucchini. Also I don’t think there was a single tourist in the place, so local, so delicious.

10/10what an amazing and awesome dîner for the new year eve night. we loved the atmosphere and the traditional look of a real hosteria. the menu was off the hook and the service was so kind and gentle. they could have installed way more people for this dinner but they decided to keep it low key and family home one we did really appreciated this. a must place to visit if you want to have a traditional look and taste of the Florentine food. thanks a lot

3/10Based on reviews we were really looking forward to going to this restaurant but we were really disappointed. The service was extremely slow, server was uninterested in answering our questions as if we didn’t belong there. food was not good, we had two appetizers and 4 entrees, only one appetizer was good, the rest was tasteless and underwhelming. Maybe a very bad day for them as it was a bad night for us.

8/10Out of the way (other side of the river) restaurant with lovely ambiance and good food. The penne with mushroom, bacon and truffle was really enjoyable, as was the braised beef in wine sauce. The pork in orange sauce was less inspired. Next time I'd like to try the stuffed rabbit and roast pork (which they were out of tonight).

9.5/10Superb food, excellent service, authentic surroundings - all spoilt at the end of the evening by having our bill unceremoniously dumped on the table. In Italy, it has always been our experience and belief that the diner requests the bill once they are ready to leave.

10/10Had a wonderful dinner here with colleagues and everyone left happy. The food was excellent and the menu was full of choices that seemed like they came from a family cookbook - one had the beef braised in Sangiovese sauce, one had stuffed rabbit, and my cacciatorre di pollo was simple and excellent. There was not a forkfull left on anyone’s plate. The setting was rustic and authentic. This is now on my list for Florence.

10/10The best food we ate in Florence. Everything was delicious and tasted homemade, not covered in butter or oil like you get in other restaurants. Authentic Italian and so delicious. We would definitely come back here!

10/10We really enjoyed our dinner. We had a delicious Tuscan Vegetable soup and two very tasty pasta dishes, one with meat sauce and then other with broccoli, tomatoes and spicy sauce. We shared and they complimented each other. The house wine was good! Server was very attentive even though he was very busy attending to numerous guests . Highly recommend!

10/10Cute little spot at the base of M. Angelo viewpoint of the city. Whatever you do, get the peas there. So darn good. I would go back just get a plate of peas haha.

10/10This is a gem of a restaurant. I’ve come to Florence three years in a row and have come to this restaurant five times. The crostini is amazing, most people order it. This time, we had chicken cacciatore and pasta with duck sauce and they were equally delicious. It’s simply a wonderful place in a wonderful city. The people than work there make you feel like family.

10/10Excellent food, great service. The carbonara was the best I've had, and the roast pork was both unique and delicious. Be sure to book in advance, the wait could be quite long if you don't.

10/10The food here was just incredible. As in flavorful sauces, meat that falls apart, and all that makes Tuscan cuisine so cozy. The service is kind and accommodating, and you feel like you're visiting a grandparent's home. Unpretentious and just great at what they do. The menu changes often, but you really can't go wrong here.

4.5/10This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide. We weee the first to be seated for evening hours. There was one server the entire evening and didn’t even say hello when he greeted us. The chickpea appetizer was the only good part of our meal. The bland pork/orange sauce and pasta was cold, and bread was stale. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and sadly the only bad meal on our trip.
