10/10Everything about this restaurant was perfect from the service, ambience to the lovely family that owns and runs the restaurant. The food was amazing and by far the best dining experience we’ve had in Sicily! Bravo!!!!

10/10While on holiday in Sciacca, my husband and I wanted something a little more refined and delicate than a typical dinner out, and Hostaria del Vicolo was the perfect choice. Recommended in the Michelin Guide, it did not disappoint. We chose the Innovation Menu – eight courses in total – and were amazed both by the creativity and by the portion sizes, which were generous without being overwhelming (though by course five we were already wondering how we’d make it to the end!). Service was excellent throughout. Each dish was presented and explained in perfect English, with thoughtful wine recommendations to match – we tried different glasses of regional wines, all perfectly suited to our tastes. It was a fabulous dining experience from start to finish – elegant, innovative, and memorable. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something truly special in Sciacca.

I had an amazing food experience in this restaurant, last night. The food was excellent, as the service. The combinations of flavours were extraordinary. The staff was very gentle and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend the starter ' I Crudi ' and the typical dessert from Sciacca ' Ovamurina '.

9/10This restaurant was a nice respite from the crowds off a quiet alley. It was small with clean white linens and simplistic decor. The owner and small staff were very nice and very attentive. Food was made to order but prepared swiftly. The veal and monk fish were excellent. I will recommend this restaurant as a must for all visiting Sciacca!

10/10Little restaurant with so helpful staff and the owner is going arround to serve all your needs. The food was amazing and you need to book a table in advance otherwise you won’t be lucky to spend amazing time.

10/10This is an outstanding restaurant. We had the 6 course degustation which was absolutely excellent…well balanced & superb flavours. If I could give 10 stars I would.. such a joy to have wonderful food, wine & service at a reasonable cost without the pretentiousness of U.K. establishments. A must for any foodie visiting Sciacca. …

8.5/10A small intimate restaurant where you feel most welcome. Attention to detail evident with even the bread service where you learn of the wheat used in the making of the exceptional bread and where the olive oil is made. All dishes nicely presented and very tasty. A great choice for our night in Sciacca!

9/10Having looked at several options we booked this restaurant for the menu. Not disappointed. Booked for lunch as driving into Sciacca on an evening was not to our liking. Restaurant is small with only a few tables but well laid out and presented and diners are not on top of one another. Welcome and service was excellent and as there were few lunchtime diners our food was definitely cooked to order and presented hot with an explanation from the server as to what was on the plate. We do not normally have a desert but the local delicacie and the lemon ice cream rounded off a good meal. The wine list is large and a little daunting but our choice of a local wine was excellent. Thank you to all.
