It is a calm place, in a good location. Dishes were correctly cooked. Unfortunately the owner, through the otherwise kind waiter, at the outset, said that the Fork discount was not applicable to seafood/fish dishes and also to the desserts. I had to protest strongly to have the promised Fork discount correctly applied. This ruined the atmosphere of the evening. I read, later, on other Fork reviews that this is a usual problem with HOSTARIA FARNESE, in Rome. I am surprised that the Fork had not yet banned this establishment from its listings.

We really loved this little restaurant. Not only were food and service amazing, but we especially enjoyed the relaxed and calm atmosphere, the modest ambience. Even though it is located in the city center, it still felt like a place locals go to as well. We went there twice in our three-day visit! Thank you!
