Tiramisu was excellent and a wonderful treat to finish our meals. Our family of four was welcomed in and treated well the entire time.

omg , I travel through Italy very often and this is among the best pastas I've ever eaten . service was amazing . it was very charming, we are changing plans to eat here again . wine list was amazing . this is a must visit in the colosseum area !!!

I have been going to this restaurant since my years working in Italy in the 1990s. You must try the “tastings” of different pastas. You are in good hands at hosteria Isidoro!

Excellent service. A good menu with wide variety of choices. Good food choices of good quality. Good choice of desserts. Prices in general average with good value for money. We will definitely come back to try other interesting dishes.

We had an amazing evening and a fantastic experience at Hostaria Isidoro! ❤️ First of all, the restaurant has an authentic atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly! And the food—absolutely delicious! I had the best Carbonara of my life! We also ordered a bottle of house red wine, and it tasted fantastic. We were completely satisfied with everything we ordered and will definitely come back in the future. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone who truly wants to taste and experience Italy! ❤️

A focused menu plus a menu of the day with interesting choices. Very good meat and fresh vegetables. Not too touristic although very close to the colosseum.

I go here every time I have a guest visiting Rome. It’s a great place to try all the classics! I was first brought here by a local myself so you know it’s the real thing.

check in at restaurant we advised that we had a reservation. they did not ask name. brought us to a table. my husband does not drink so he ordered a birra senza alcohol. they had none. I ordered carbonara which I had 3 x during our 2 weeks in Italy and had been amazing, pecorino and iuanchale or speck. except here. so dry and otherworldly extremely salty. when the waiter checked on us it had coagulated. at end we had to remind him we had fork discount.

The food was super nice and the restaurant lets us get away from the crowded rome, to a cozy little dinner. We enjoyed it so much and it made our first dinner in Rome super special! The staff was super kind and the food was delicious!

Just a short walk from the Colosseum, it's an unassuming gem of a place. The service was excellent, the place is quiet (even outside). We had Danish beef steak, which was cooked to perfection, sea bass which was was quiet but tasty, and pretty much the only complaint I had was that the pasta was a little hard. Both Panna Cotta and Tiramisu we're excellent. In short, a wonderful dinner.

Absolutely loved this place! They were all very nice and funny and made this a place to remember. The food was amazing and we loved the tiramisu. Highly recommend!

Our first full meal in Rome did not disappoint. The house red wine was good, starters (beef carpaccio and Caesar salad) were just right. Due to being tired I read the menu incorrectly and ordered a grilled chicken breast, but it ended up being a good mistake on my part bc it was just what I needed. Others in our group enjoyed Carbonara and another pasta I can’t pronounce.

Our dinner was on a Monday night. Few people dining there. Missed the ambience of a busy restaurant. Thought the food was a little bland. Service was good.

This was by far the best pasta we had in Rome! We have gone twice in the last ten years and we loved it both times. We ordered the chefs choice and were never disappointed! It’s absolutely worth the stop.

Our first time in here for a special seasonal Italian dinner. Perfect recommendation and wonderful cooking and food selection from chef. Wine suggestion are good fit for our flavor.

Excellent food. The tagliolin lobster special was fantastic. My son absolutely loved the steak.

The waiter was very harsh. Group of 7 and kind of barked at us when first came to table. Ordered 1 bottle of wine “to try” and states no free samples. Tried to explain bring one bottle and will order that or another depending if table likes the wine. Off to a rough start. He did get a little better with service. A nice young lady came around for dessert order all of which were yummy. Antipasto board was nice and everyone enjoyed the food. I made reservation for 9 on The Fork but 2 people had issue and could not attend. I was reported to The Fork that I did not fulfill my reservation.

Fantastic service in a warm and cozy environment. The risotto was amazing as was the ravioli. We will be back!

Food was good they cooked the meat as we preferred, only down side was we had a couple of things added on the bill we didn't have. Apart from that I would recommend this place for local food.

The food was great, but the service chaotic. I don't know if they got more customers than expected when we were there, but it was disorganised, especially when it came to paying the bill.

Amazing food. I had the amatriciana while my other two colleagues had the ravioli and carbonara. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. I would say however that the ravioli serving portion is quite small didn’t feel full after eating it. Overall amazing experience and would definitely recommend. Cannot give it a perfect rating as the waiter forgot our order and didn’t bring out the fries until we reminded him.

Food: the menu says "spaghetti alla chitarra" what they served were simple spaghetti Service: the restaurant was almost empty I had to ask twice for a bottle of water (first time the waiter forgot the order!!!!) He used to call my mother in law (white hair) "Ecco cara" with a confidence which reaches impoliteness in Italian
