10/10Easy to book via the fork. Lovely greeting on arrival. My wife had a wheat allergy and a good range of wheat/gluten free options us essential. Lots to choose from here. Food was excellent and would recommend.

6.5/10Food was nice, a bit pricey for the amount of food given on a plate. Got scammed by the fork app as stated if booked at this restaurant at this time you would get a 20% discount of the final bill. This never happened!!!

The amount was 44.50 euro, so I told to pay 46 euros. But my credit card was charged 50 euros. I pointed it out and the staff noticed the mistake and apologized. But he didn't correct it. It's like 4 euros was stolen.

6.5/10A pleasant room and a welcoming staff. But overly salted risotto that had vegetables that were clearly a veggie mix that came out of a bag, and a limp green salad. Disappointing after a long hot day of travel. Not the worst meal I’ve ever had, but far from what I’d hoped.

My dinner at HLB was a wonderful conclusion to a month-long visit to Italy. The last portion of my trip I was solo, so I always experience a little apprehension over that. At HLB, staff welcomed me and provided courteous and attentive service. Because I was in Milan, I opted for Risotto alla Milanese and it did not disappoint. The rice was done perfectly al dente (which I can’t seem to replicate at home) and the saffron flavor delicious. That was followed by an expertly cooked, and tender, sliced entrecôte steak. Mouthwatering! My meal was accompanied by a half bottle of hearty red wine (several were available to pick from), to compliment a very satisfying meal. Grazie mille!

The restaurant was lovely, the waiter we had was such a lovely man & provided the best service to us! We wanted to go to a traditional Italian restaurant and that is definitely what we got! Loved every bit of it, such a memorable last night! The food was absolutely delicious & I would recommend to others travelling to Milano. Really reasonably priced too!

10/10The restaurant ambience, service and food quality was excellent. The presentation of food in the plate was also excellent. The table charges of Euro2.5 per head was very reasonable considering the restaurant is very close to the Milan Centrale station. Overall a very good experience.

I really enjoyed my meal at Hostaria La Baita. I had Risotto alla Milanese (Saffron Milanese rice), followed by Filetto di Branzino con verdure (Sea bass fillet with mix vegetables) and Torta della nonna. Everything was really delicious and the service and atmosphere was lovely. I would definitely go back if in Milan again. The total with alcohol was 60,00 euro

+2Excellent food service and ambience. Great value for money. Portions were generous and tasty. Prawns starter was great as was veal Milanese which was huge and fillet steak was nice. I ordered this medium rare and it was cooked rare, should have sent back really but was enjoyable. Shared a Tirimisu which was excellent and home made.

So glad we found this restaurant! The baby octopus in red sauce was so tender and I swear there were 10 of them in there! We had the seafood pasta and truffle pasta and a bottle Chardonnay. Everything was 5 stars. Even with wine and tiramisu for dessert our check was less than $90 euros. Staff was super friendly and helpful with the menu, service was prompt. Can’t ask for more.
