9.5/10Spectacular braised beef & beef ravioli. Only The house wine (red) was a little underwhelming not exactly to my taste. The place is quite small and cosy. As a guest we felt well taken care of by the owner and friendly staff. It seems like a family run restaurant. Also our dog was warmly welcomed.

9/10This is a small but delightful restaurant. It is a popular place with regulars and tourist. The waitress was excellent and made us all feel most welcome. I would certainly go there again. The lovely liquor at the end of the meal was an added bonus.

10/10Mom and pop restaurant only lets in reservations. The boy speaks good English and it was a delight to have experiences such great food. Ink spaghetti, bacon in beef, and their caprese salad with buratta cheese was very good. For the price point, this place has amazing value and great food. Would definitely come back again.

10/10We had a very lovely dinner at Historia17. We enjoyed a dish with beeff and the spaghetti with shrimps. They recommended us fitting wine to accompany these dishes. The people running the place were very kind. We would definitely go back to this place

10/10This family run eatery offers delicious food and excellent service at very reasonable prices in a cozy atmosphere. What more can you ask for? Daughter Elena reviews the menu in English or Italian or both, including the daily specials. We thought it would be mostly seafood but the offerings are pretty evenly balanced between meat, fish, pasta and vegetarian. The house red wine is superb with body and depth. Desserts were interesting if somewhat limited (nothing chocolate when we went). Overall this is a neighborhood gem.

10/10Unpretentious family run restaurant... great food, great service, just a wonderful evening seeing lots of couples, families, friends enjoy themselves. Appetiser of meatballs in tomato sauce, fillet of beef, semifreddo and mums homemade strudel all very good... but the star of the show (other than dads apron!) was the slow cooked beef ....melted in the mouth with a rich sauce. Small wine list...we stuck to house red ... and complimentary digestive after the meal. Would return again and again if we lived in Verona.

10/10Two of the three dishes we ordered were fantastic--a seafood salad with octopus, calamari, etc., and the boar sauce ragu. The steak with bacon dinner was good but not great. We also had an excellent wine. The atmosphere in the restaurant is casual but really nice. The waitress is the daughter of the man and woman who own the restaurant, and they clearly treat the restaurant and their customers as very special. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone!!

5.5/10We only had one night in Verona and this had looked like it got good reviews and served local food. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed with quite a few things we were served. There was a smoked burrata with cherry tomatoes but the tomatoes were hard and not anywhere near being ripe. The kids ordered delicious dishes (spaghetti with wild boar ragu and a stewed beef dish. My husband and I went for the cod with polenta as it seemed to be on all the restaurant menus (therefore local) and we wanted to try it. The fish was so salty it was inedible and there were little bones in every bite. I was so disappointed. Also, the music was distracting. It was cover songs done in bassa nova style....really bad.

10/10Very cosy place with tasty family kitchen.. I had octopus with polenta as a starter and black spaghetti with shrimps to follow. I enjoyed every piece of both dishes! Real opening!

8.5/10Lovely family runs the restaurant. Menu is limited so probably would not go back often unless you found something on it you teally liked. Overall a very pleasant good meal. (If you like the WC styling, complement the waitress, She and her mother designed them when they felt the originals felt to much like a hospital WC.
