5.5/10We were welcomed with open arms but after the check arrived some of our group of 4 paid with credit cards and rounded up for a tip the rest of us paid with cash and left 8 euros plus any extra change we had on the table. Which I thought was quite generous only to be chased down the street the waiter handing back our money and saying No! We will never go back!

10/10My Daughter in law said "you have to eat there" so we did and I am glad. Our server was very personable and gave great tips for food and then wine to pair with. The Oxtail Penne was to die for. When in Rome this must be on your list of places to eat.

10/10This restaurant gets our highest recommendation. The service is superb, the food is delicious, and everything about the experience is satisfying. Good wine, delicious steak presented with a flair, pans of pasta, after dinner desserts and digestives…. Get it all.

7.5/10The restaurant is very good, great food, ambiance and location, however the waiters always ( i have been there 3 times ) ask for a generous tip and always say that already we had THE FORK 20% discount, so we have to compensate for that!!!!! That’s very rude and nonprofessional!

6/10it was a disappointment ... brought out of town family and have been many times though it's been a while (though I now believe it may have changed hands). the servers were kind but the owner or manager was NOT. asked for fettuccine w porcini mushrooms and since there were 2 of us but one is vegan they didn't want to make the non vegan person the dish w fettuccine ... but after some serious haggling they did. (we made it clear my friend was vegan) they served us the pasta and it had butter in it - which is an ingredient that you NEVER find in pasta w porcini mushrooms...they argued when we mentioned something ... I CLD go on about much more but it's useless...if u want a true Roman experience with friendly outgoing Romans and great food pls don't go here... I'd recommend osteria da Corrado ... much better ... too bad they were booked full last night ...

10/10Based in the busiest street in Trastevere.this gem of a place had customers queuing up. Fortunately, we had a reservation. From the moment we arrived, Patrizio, made us feel at home, totallying spoiling us, nothing was too much trouble. He brought another table so we could all sit together outside and that set the tone for the night..Starters included bruschetta was light delicate, fresh and tasty.. One of the other guest had freshly made Fettuccine-delicious. We ordered the The Florintine steak between 3 of us. This was a might big piece of meat which was cooked to perfection and whilst we were hungry, we couldn't quite finish it! The wine list was extensive catering for all taste and pockets but what's so.good about Hosteria Del Moro is they don't look to mark up the wine to ridiculous levels-like the food, its so reasonable and keeps the bill down so you really feel like you've underpaid. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Rome.

9.5/10The food and service were awesome in this casual and cute Italian restaurant! The staff was very accommodating with our special requests. The bread was delicious, as were our pasta dishes...and the wine! the restaurant has a lively atmosphere---casual and very informal.

4/10The food was covered in black pepper and they charged us for the ‘coperto’ per person even if the menu didn’t state that. Tourist trap!

Ciao Chiara ti ringraziamo di aver scelto il nostro ristorante, però quando si sceglie di mangiare cacio e pepe e carbonara penso sia normale trovare del pepe nei piatti, forse un po troppo poco per definire trappola per turisti, e comunque nn è presente la voce copero...... Un saluto

10/10I found this restaurant from a travel guide, I ordered a Spaghetti with lobster and beef fillet, and aperol sprits for drinks. The price is reasonable and the food is very nice. Definitely will come again with my family upon my next visit to italy!

7/10This little restaurant was ok. Food quality was fine but portions very very small so don’t bring your hungry teenagers. For the money you can find better places if you are for good quality and quantity. Also we picked a wine from the menu (valpolicella) which showed to be a bad wine unfortunately. Bad wines should not be on the menu.

8.5/10Servers are great, food was delicious, nice draft beers, too. Having lived in Rome for over a decade, I can tell that this restaurant serves authentic Roman cuisine. Menu is in Italian, surely, they do not cater to tourists hence the food quality is at local's standards so that guarantees authenticity. Prices are fair considering it's in the hip and vibrant neighborhood of Trastevere. We sat outside, restaurant has a nice facade and homey ambience, but the inside is a different feel, with large tables and dining couches, formal set-up and ample space. The only negative part was when my friend went to the cashier to pay, our waiter asked him for a tip, he said "no pressure" but still he asked, which for me was kind of weird considering tipping is not customary here in Italy.

2/10Don't suggest to come here. ashen i booked i wrote that i want table outside, and when we arrived it was plenty of free tables outside, but they said that with Fork they give tables only inside! If u want to feel yourself defective client order this restaurant with Fork. I will never come back here for sure

9/10Great atmosphere. The service was attentive and casual. They were so kind. We enjoyed our meals of carbonara, amatriciana and lasagna. The favorite being the lasagna. The amatriciana was saucier than others that I have had. And the carbonara was a bit less saucy than other places.

10/10Great place to settle in, have wonderful Roman food, people watch and have a lot of fun on a very crowded Sunday afternoon. Food is A+ and service is prompt and friendly. No rush and orders are brought only when previous order has been finished. Mussels were fabulous, plump and cooked just right. Plenty of bread to soak up the succulent broth. Calimari was tender and tasty, just the right amount of tempura batter. Artichokes were crispy and served hot right after deep frying. Big beers and well priced wine selection. If you get the opportunity to have Julius as your waiter, you will have a fun and enjoyable time. An A+ experience on a typically chaotic Trasteverde Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend.

10/10Look, there are loads of restaurants in Travestere offering this kind of food at this kind of price and they may all be as good and enjoyable as ‘Moro’ but we had a really nice meal with a street view and great service. What could be better?

10/10We've gone twice already, so delicious! We had the lobster spaghetti, pasta with mussels,. Another steak and the mushroom filet.Great waiter, great suggestions, going back tomorrow. We've had 2 mediocre meals in Rome and know we are going to love Hosteria del moro! Lemoncello spritz yummy too!
