The food and service were truly excellent. We enjoyed it very, very much. The only downside (and it’s only a downside during the summer) is the fact that the A/C is tiny and probably 20+ years old, so it was HOT inside.

It was a very quiet evening with only a couple of diners so we were a little worried. However the food was amazing - my husband tried the snails and steak and I tried the salmon tartar and pan fried prawns! The tiramisu and creme brulee were also fabulous! The waitress also let my husband sample lots of wines and was very helpful. Service was a little slow but that may just be the French way 😊

Charming yet unpretentious, inviting and warm, Hugo is a little gem in the 9th. And the food—DELICIOUS. The service was relaxed and helpful, and accommodated our requests for extra salad. We highly recommend this spot for a haute teed hood meal that will leave you smiling.

It was our second time this year at Hugo, which is around the corner from our hotel. The food and wine are really delicious, the service excellent and plenty of options for my daughter and I who are gluten free. I highly recommend.

Small, 20 +/- seats. One server who was excellent and maybe 2 staff in the kitchen. The menu was diverse. We started with the salmon Tartare which had a wonderful flavor that I was previously unfamiliar with but which we loved. My wife had a beautiful shellfish dish, and I had a piece of beef, cooked exactly as I asked for it and with a marvelous sauce of fois gras. They cut and fry the chips just before bring served. The room has soft but very enjoyable blues playing throughout the evening. The server could not have been more professional. Congratulations on serving a wonderful meal and delivering an really wonderful dinner experience.

Hugo is a quaint little restaurant along a quiet street which gives it a lovely ambience. The food was great as well as the wine, and the hall manager was really friendly as well. Overall really satisfied with the experience! Thank you Hugo.

This was one of my better food experience in Paris, Truly french kitchen with affordable price and excellent service, it's a bit out of tourist center but very easy to get there by metro...this ocasion i was with business team members but plan to be back with my wifi, totally worth !

Really enjoyed this little gem of a restaurant. From the start, we were warmly welcomed and had a great dining experience. The scallops were cooked perfectly and some of the best we've ever had. Would highly recommend.

My daughter and I really enjoyed an excellent meal at this lovely little restaurant. The food was cooked simply but to perfection and was a large portion. We had planned to have dessert but didn't have room! Delicious wine as well. I would definitely recommend Hugo. It's right around the corner from Hotel Opera Lafayette.

Nice quiet small restaurant. Very lovely atmosphere. If you are near, do not think twice and go for it. The food was delicious, yet not outstanding. Metro station is some three minutes away.

The food was very good with quality and the valuw was just. However the service was terrible. The waitress spent her time in the cell phone. She didn't ask what we wanted to drink. At the end we asked if we could pay in cash and each of us paid his own. She said yes. We wait for so long that we missed the uber. Then came a lady with a very bad mood who said she didn't have change. We paid by card witch could have been resolved right away. It was a pity the service didn't keep up with the quality of the food.

Lovely cozy atmosphere. The waiting staff were friendly and unfazed by the full room. Lovely choice of menu and delicious dishes. Luckily we were only 3 mins back to the hotel
