7/10Nice setting, friendly people, food tasty, fresh but not outstanding. Good wine selection. For unknown reasons by 9 pm we’ve been asked to leave, found that troubling and slightly unfriendly.

6.5/10Nice location being at gare but the menu is very limited. Basically toasts or very small over priced plates. The bread was so hard and chewy that my friend and I had a hard time cutting or biting into it. This place is better as a co-working spot (if you grab your drink at Sleepy Bear next door).

6.5/10I chose this place based on instagram posts. Unfortunately I had too high expectations :). The menu was somewhat classical for restos around - pasta and tartare. My dish was ok, my friend’s tartare was not that good. The place is very noisy, the paper menu was worn out. Looks like more of a place for apero than dinner.

6/10I was looking forward to try it but was super disappointed by the food like the dish is literally one small toast and not even toasted! Atleast put a small little salad to justify the price. We were all super hungry afterwards. We took the dessert it was ok but still like this toast will hunt me in My dreams lol Would only come back for coffee or drinks but never for food.

8.5/10I used to and still do enjoy lunch at hungry bear. It seems they have changed their lunch menu which means you have to have a side a sweet option where I preferred being able to choose. Also the savoury options now seem smaller and with less options available and you also cannot use the discount code for this lunch menu which is really disappointing.

8.5/10I always love going to Hungry Bear - great terrace. I feel the waiter was a little over worked as we didn't receive menus. There was a QR code already on the table so we ordered using that. The problem was we later found out there was a lunch time menu that we would have preferred (but was not available through the QR code). Thats all though. Our lunch was delicious but would have liked the option..

10/10A great place for lunch with excellent, friendly service! We loved our Aubergines for our main course and banana bread for dessert. Delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

10/10Definitely the best place to have a healthy and tasty brunch in Lausanne ! Highly recommend it. The staff is really nice and food is incredible. You should go for the Courgette Pancakes and Avocado Toast. Yummy

7/10While the food is decent, it is very overpriced, even for Lausanne. Also, the tables are so close together that you cannot have a conversation without being distracted by the people that the next table. This seems to be a place catering to co-working more than a restaurant, as we were seated at the window bar table because the actual tables were occupied by people working on their laptops.

10/10+7Exquisite - one word to define the Hungry Bear. A place that invites you to feel as welcomed and cozy as in your own living room, while tasting goodies, you would only find in a fancy restaurant. Our favorite place for all our events (family and corporate), providing friendly and great service, and amazing dishes. A must "go to" place when in Vaud.
