10/10Everything was just perfect - the very friendly and knowledgeable staff, the excellent food and the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Also the amazing wine selection can't be missed!

We went here for lunch. A fabulous menu with outstanding service and atmosphere. The food was exceptional. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a special occasion!!

10/10A truly wonderful evening. A delicious meal with each dish offering complex yet subtle flavourings. A great wine menu, friendly and attentive staff, and set in a lovely surroundings with some quirky features. I would definitely recommend any visit to Genoa should include a visit to i Cuochi for a memorable dining experience. Thank you to all the waiting and kitchen staff for a lovely evening.

6/10Food was fresh and creative. however, lacked salt almost in every dish, making it bland in some dishes. our biggest problem was the pretentiousness of the staff. No smiles when you come in, being served or a proper goodby when you leave. almost arrogant. Also a bit too much upselling for my taste.

8.5/10Great food and great service. Our only disappointment was that we were tucked away upstairs with only a few other people whilst the downstairs is a nicer environment and wasn’t full. I would highly recommend but maybe include a request to be downstairs when you book. Waitress and wine guy were great

10/10We were able to get a last minute reservation here after being turned away by two other places as walk-ins. How lucky we were! This restaurant was an amazing find! The food and wine were delicious. The service was top notch. Definitely had a great experience and would recommend.

+1I decided to treat myself after two weeks of work at Genova to a very nice dinner at I Cuochi. I ordered the tasting menu: most dishes were sea-bass or tuna based and the dessert was tiramisu. The sea bass tartare and the tortellini were incredible. The tuna dish needed some extra oomph in my opinion. The dessert was quite good as well. Overall I was very satisfied. The staff was also quite welcoming, especially given my poor Italian.

10/10I found this restaurant on my last trip to Genoa, and I wanted to be sure to eat there again. As it turns out, I have eaten there twice on this trip, because I wanted to try both the tasting menu and some other things on the menu. The food is creative and attractive, without seeming fussy. The service is very welcoming and kind. If you are looking for a very good dining experience in the old city, try I Cuochi.

10/10On a rainy evening I Cuochi felt like a bright and warm refuge. Excellent, friendly service and delicious, interesting food. Not only were we enchanted, but those at nearby tables (many with children) were kindly treated and seemed happy. The fish was fresh and the preparation was skillful without being too complex. Each course felt particular and interesting.

+1Great discovery from a list of recommended places on our last night in Genova…best service thus far in Italy…opted for the Chef’s Pre-Fix and recommended wine and both were outstanding. Great flow to each course and amazing flavors. Highly recommend

10/10A superb dining experience in Genoa; highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to enjoy the very best of Italian cuisine. So good that we will break with our usual holiday custom, of never eating in the same place twice, to return for another chance to experience this wonderful establishment.

7.5/10The food was fine, but not better than other more standard restaurants. We had the tasting menu - 4 courses for €45, the cheapest wine €28. The service was excellent. Overall quite an expensive meal but not that memorable.
