10/10The service was outstanding and the tasting menu could not have been better with perfect size portions of each course. If your looking for a non touristy location in a beautiful room this is the place for you. One of the best restaurants we have been to in Europe after travelling for months.

I enjoyed the best meal of my 2 weeks in Italy here. While Bologna and Florence are more meat-centric, I love seafood. I happened to arrive on a night with a 4-course special with 3 different types of fish and a tiramisu. Each with a different wine pairing. The service was top notch. 3 different waiters during my dinner checked-in or delivered a part of my meal. Each was professional, courteous and friendly. If you are in Genova looking for a wonderful dining experience, I highly recommend!

8.5/10I had the tasting course with wine included for 60 euro. Good service, food was good but not great although fair sizes. The tiramisu was the best but the wine selection with the tasting was rather boring.

We had a lovely night at I Cuochi with a extremely forthcoming attentive staff and delicious food in a beautiful space tucked away in the maze-like old town of Genoa. The crudo del mare platter was delectable and the cod and duck dishes as well. The wine recommendations were spot on. My highlight was the dessert, glazed pears with figs and different citrus fruits. We would definitely go back!

10/10This outstanding gem of a traditional Genovese restaurant excels in every way including its location ambience service and most of all food and wine. Anna and her colleagues provided an excellent service making it a very memorable experience for me and I.We even had a tour of the wine cellar. Thank you to all staff.

10/10A truly wonderful evening. A delicious meal with each dish offering complex yet subtle flavourings. A great wine menu, friendly and attentive staff, and set in a lovely surroundings with some quirky features. I would definitely recommend any visit to Genoa should include a visit to i Cuochi for a memorable dining experience. Thank you to all the waiting and kitchen staff for a lovely evening.

6/10Food was fresh and creative. however, lacked salt almost in every dish, making it bland in some dishes. our biggest problem was the pretentiousness of the staff. No smiles when you come in, being served or a proper goodby when you leave. almost arrogant. Also a bit too much upselling for my taste.

8.5/10Great food and great service. Our only disappointment was that we were tucked away upstairs with only a few other people whilst the downstairs is a nicer environment and wasn’t full. I would highly recommend but maybe include a request to be downstairs when you book. Waitress and wine guy were great

10/10We were able to get a last minute reservation here after being turned away by two other places as walk-ins. How lucky we were! This restaurant was an amazing find! The food and wine were delicious. The service was top notch. Definitely had a great experience and would recommend.
