Fabulously innovative restaurant with top service and a friendly, approachable chef (a fluent English speaker) who loves to discuss his creations with guests. Set within the beautiful Belle Epoque Hotel Splendide Royal, the restaurant also offers stunning views across the Lago di Lugano. Well worth a detour to this enchanting city, the Naples of the north.

The staff are very nice and warm welcome with friendly. The food is ok and the fish menu is amazing.

The food is absolutely amazing. Michelin does this place a disservice rating it at one star. A very solid 2 star in my opinion. Add the lakeside view and it is hard to beat. Superb wine pairing using local and South Italian wines.

Excellent food with outstanding and unique wine pairing … the infusion bong with fennel and licorice was a nice way to end your dining experience.

We have eaten in many michelin restaurants all over the world and I Due Sud rates in the top three. Wonderful talented chef - surely a 2 star is beckoning!

The restaurant is very nice, classic interior. The food was really good but the it took 3 hours to serve 7 course menu - in my opinion it is too much, sometimes the pause between courses was up to 20-25 min. The service was overall ok, a couple of times I had the water glass empty and the bottle far away.

Thank you so much for being so flexible with our food restrictions. We loved the Mediterranean influences in the dishes and the service was excellent.

Wonderful food and service. We love great food and go to many Michelin restaurants and this was right up there. Staff were also exceptional. We will be back.

No pepper, no salt, no taste. Really disappointing so that we left after the third course. The wine menu was also very poor for both quality and quantity. All in all a very expensive experience that we can‘t recommend.

The ambience is superb and the service impeccable. The food is delicious and well presented. The wine pairing is totally worth it. The only little disappointment were the tiny portions, I was expecting at least the main entry to be a bit bigger than two bites.

By far, one of the neatest restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The food was amazing. The wait staff was incredible. Everyone that was with me had a fanrastic time. I highly recommend this restaurant t to everyone.
