+1The food is amazing. We order 5 seafood dishes. All of them are fresh and delicious. Staff are friendly. It’s a small but warm shop. I will come again if I visit to Sicily.

This is exactly the right fish restaurant. Small, surely family owned, been there for a while, super fresh seafood, and packed during Italian eating hours. I'm just in town for a few days and will eat many meals here as everything on the menu looks terrific. Pro tip - eat at tourist hours. They were mostly empty at 12:45 yet overflowing at 2:30 on a different day.

very nice kitchen: traditional and proper. for those looking for home-made-type of food an excellent choice on condition that from the restaurant itself you should not expect too much. ıt is simple, in fact very simple, basic and that's it. price/value ratio is not bad. ıt is not exceptionally cheap but moderately priced. for two people with two glasses of spumante a dish of swordfish and ravioli, with an appetizer we paid around 80 euros. over all we enjoyed the place.

I Sapori Del Mare is wonderful. It’s a small place but full of flavor and authenticity. Fish dishes are their specialty. My wife and I started with the mussels, which were in an amazing mixture of broth and basil. Dipping the wonderful bread in the broth was delicious. Next we had the salmon raviolis, very good also. We finished with the swordfish prepared with tomatoes, onions, olives, potatoes, and capers. It was amazing!! It’s worth eating here just for the swordfish. The service was excellent also. Highly recommended! Enjoy!!

Incredible food in a very fun atmosphere. Lots of cool sea themed decorations. Staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Food was amazing and a great night out overall.

Family owned restaurant where food and warm service make you feel like you’re in their fine Italian kitchen. Best ingredients and menu selections are top notch. Mussels even surpass those in Belgium and bread with toasted sesame brings the dish to an added level.

Family treated us warmly with good service. There were .4 of us and we were all very happy with our meals which had inviting presentation. My zipped r Mare was piled high with a lovely broth. Made for a lovely evening.

This is a small unpretentious restaurant frequented by locals. As a pasta lover, I can honestly say that their scialatielli ai sapori di mare is truly exceptional. The grilled swordfish was also very flavorful. Generous potions. Reasonable prices.

Nice people but the sauce of the pasta was not flavorful at all. Small portion of vongole for 15€. My friend got the ricci di mare pasta, also very small and not very tasty unfortunately. Overall it was fine but for the price we expected more food and more flavors.

The hospitality was generally amazing. It is a restaurant for local I can tell. But the food was unitary, and seafood was not very fresh.
I Sapori Del MareHis words are an ugly slander, from 21 years we cooking only fresh fish, we have big respect for our guest, specially for the tourists! You can see it from the comments. If don’t like some dish you can tell me the problem, but in this historical moment there are a keyboard lion!

Good quality ingredients, but pasta vongole & appetizers wayyyyy too salty. Salad ordered without anchovies, came with them. Personnel on phone beside our table all evening.

I booked this restaurant some time before our visit thinking we could walk from our apartment near the station. Be prepared, Palermo is bigger than you might expect. We took a taxi (21€) but it was worth the journey. Simple in style but a great in ambience. The seafood was excellent and we found ourselves drooling over each plate which passed us by. Our own choice was the chef’s speciality. The staff were friendly and efficient. We would definitely return in the future.

Food was very good and really quickly served. Unfortunately, it was very dark because there was no table light for us. Anyway we would recommend the restaurant.

Food was average at best - too much salt in the dish, especially for the mussel soup it’s very salty. Was going through the bill and trying to understand the calculation, but somewhat the lady owner sounds offended and and a bit rude mumbling in Italian, ended up being not a pleasant experience walking away from the restaurant.
I Sapori Del Marethey are not cooked mussels with salt, they were very fresh and had a strong taste, and in any case you didn't understand the discount on the bill, his friend was also embarrassed because of him. it's exhausting to cook and give a service, apply a discount and have a review for revenge!

This small restaurant was recommended to us by friends. It's a little off the main tourist area of Palermo, but did not disappoint. The service was great and the food was fantastic.

Cute cozy restaurant .Delicious fresh seafood , very welcoming and friendly stuff. We had sea food risotto , ravioli with shrimps that were fresh, tasty and the portion size is generous . Then we had a red sniper for two ,made in salt in the oven ,and it was delicious . Definitely worth the visit .

Really enjoy our dinner!! Food was delicious and super fresh!! This is a family run restaurant for 20 years!! You need to make reservation because the place is very small, 8 tables. We dine on Monday night and they were fully booked.

First the owner called us and told us in an unfriendly manner that we didn’t show up (but we were there waiting for our pasta…) then they charged us without applying a discount. Then they charged us even more. The third time the price was acceptable. Idk if the owner though we are some silly tourists or what but I just hate when the bill is not allright and there’s no ‘sorry’ from the owner. This situation ruined our evening experience. The wine was good, the food was also ok although we expected more from the reviews.

In merito allo sconto: non tutti quelli che prenotano hanno lo sconto, c’era stato un errore, se si ricorda il cameriere ha sbagliato a portare il conto per ben 2 volte, se crede che le abbiamo rovinato la vacanza le rimborserò quei pochi soldi che ha speso????
