9.5/10Family treated us warmly with good service. There were .4 of us and we were all very happy with our meals which had inviting presentation. My zipped r Mare was piled high with a lovely broth. Made for a lovely evening.

9.5/10This is a small unpretentious restaurant frequented by locals. As a pasta lover, I can honestly say that their scialatielli ai sapori di mare is truly exceptional. The grilled swordfish was also very flavorful. Generous potions. Reasonable prices.

6/10Nice people but the sauce of the pasta was not flavorful at all. Small portion of vongole for 15€. My friend got the ricci di mare pasta, also very small and not very tasty unfortunately. Overall it was fine but for the price we expected more food and more flavors.

5.5/10The hospitality was generally amazing. It is a restaurant for local I can tell. But the food was unitary, and seafood was not very fresh.

His words are an ugly slander, from 21 years we cooking only fresh fish, we have big respect for our guest, specially for the tourists! You can see it from the comments. If don’t like some dish you can tell me the problem, but in this historical moment there are a keyboard lion!

6/10Good quality ingredients, but pasta vongole & appetizers wayyyyy too salty. Salad ordered without anchovies, came with them. Personnel on phone beside our table all evening.

9.5/10I booked this restaurant some time before our visit thinking we could walk from our apartment near the station. Be prepared, Palermo is bigger than you might expect. We took a taxi (21€) but it was worth the journey. Simple in style but a great in ambience. The seafood was excellent and we found ourselves drooling over each plate which passed us by. Our own choice was the chef’s speciality. The staff were friendly and efficient. We would definitely return in the future.

5.5/10Food was average at best - too much salt in the dish, especially for the mussel soup it’s very salty. Was going through the bill and trying to understand the calculation, but somewhat the lady owner sounds offended and and a bit rude mumbling in Italian, ended up being not a pleasant experience walking away from the restaurant.

they are not cooked mussels with salt, they were very fresh and had a strong taste, and in any case you didn't understand the discount on the bill, his friend was also embarrassed because of him. it's exhausting to cook and give a service, apply a discount and have a review for revenge!

10/10Cute cozy restaurant .Delicious fresh seafood , very welcoming and friendly stuff. We had sea food risotto , ravioli with shrimps that were fresh, tasty and the portion size is generous . Then we had a red sniper for two ,made in salt in the oven ,and it was delicious . Definitely worth the visit .

10/10Really enjoy our dinner!! Food was delicious and super fresh!! This is a family run restaurant for 20 years!! You need to make reservation because the place is very small, 8 tables. We dine on Monday night and they were fully booked.

5/10First the owner called us and told us in an unfriendly manner that we didn’t show up (but we were there waiting for our pasta…) then they charged us without applying a discount. Then they charged us even more. The third time the price was acceptable. Idk if the owner though we are some silly tourists or what but I just hate when the bill is not allright and there’s no ‘sorry’ from the owner. This situation ruined our evening experience. The wine was good, the food was also ok although we expected more from the reviews.

Mi dispiace leggere ciò, quello che dice non ci rappresenta, quasi tutti i nostri clienti sono turisti che noi rispettiamo e anzi teniamo tanto alla qualità del cibo ed alla cortesia. In merito allo sconto: non tutti quelli che prenotano hanno lo sconto, c’era stato un errore, se si ricorda il cameriere ha sbagliato a portare il conto per ben 2 volte, se crede che le abbiamo rovinato la vacanza le rimborserò quei pochi soldi che ha speso????

10/10Having read several excellent reviews I had to try this place. It is exactly as described- a small trattoria specializing in phenomenal fresh seafood, run by a wonderful family. I was made to feel at home immediately. My swordfish pasta was easily one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. I’m headed back there tomorrow night with 7 friends!

9/10I Sapori Del Mare was a special find as it was a far walk from our hotel but we had to go after reading reviews. The experience did not dispute those. The grilled octopus was done simple but quite well. The pasta with sea food as recommended by our waiter was delicious as was the grilled swordfish and prawns. Definitely worth the walk!

6/10This was a pleasant, small neighbourhood fish restaurant. The food was ok without being great (tough calamari; fish soup with good flavour but little variety of ingredients - mainly tiny mussels), and the menu was fairly standard. What I can't understand is why this place has so many high ratings of 10. It is not worth making a special trip to go to this, and leads to unreasonably high expectations. Again, it is a pleasant, small neighbourhood place.
