10/10My family and I were looking for a place to celebrate my wife's birthday. We choosed the I Sofa because the name correlates with the name of my birthday woman :) At first, emotions were restrained - outwardly an ordinary restaurant, a fountain, candles, music. But when they started serving us and serving food, everything became absolutely wonderful and exactly as we wanted - delicious, fun and sincere. And, by the way, the check at the end of the dinner added to the joy. Great place!

9.5/10Food was amazing. Well delivered, presented & cooked. Flavours were on point! Service was 10/10. There wasn’t anything requested that was too much trouble. Our waiter was patient, attentive & knowledgeable. We booked last minute and were lucky to get a spot. They gave us the pick of the table when we arrived and moved the speakers and fans around to make the environment perfect. Wine menu was a lot. Bit too many choices which ended up taking me a while to make a decision. There were really good wines on the menu though at a broad range of prices. Value was amazing. Only negative was that it showed on trip advisor as a roof top but this was not the case. That’s only the bar. I would definitely eat here again. Cannot recommend highly enough.

10/10The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Location is wonderful with views of the Vatican dome and victor emanuel II monument from the rooftop bar. Would highly recommend

10/10I visited Rome with my husband for his 50th birthday celebrations and wanted somewhere nice to eat to celebrate. This restaurant did not disappoint. Andrea was a fantastic host and I contacted them to ask for a happy birthday dessert and they did everything I asked for and more. The food was delicious and was presented well and it was good value for money. They gave us a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival and some nibbles which was a lovely touch and unexpected. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want a bit of fine dining. The service was outstanding and so was the food. There is an outdoor garden area and a roof top terrace. If you book here you won’t be disappointed.

4/10This restaurant came highly recommended by a trusted source but it was so disappointing. To begin, the host did not have our reservation in his book--even though we reserved through this app. It should be noted that he told us they do not always update reservations made through the app. It was not a busy night, so we were able to be seated. When we inquired about rooftop dining (which was our biggest draw) we learned that it was closed and, he would have called us and told us as such had our reservation not been made through TheFork. The host (who was also our waiter) was unwelcoming and the food was cold when it got to our table. Finally, we waited for 15 minutes after receiving our bill...and the waiter never returned to our table! We ended up going directly to another person on the wait staff and paying for our bill rather than waiting for our waiter to return.

4/10Having chosen this restaurant for my husband and friend, I was embarrassed by the poor quality of the food. The ravioli was barely warm. The duck was very tough and the potatoes were not freshly made. This course was also barely warm. My friend ordered the tiramisu and I tasted it. It was heavy and pasty. Unacceptable. This is a mediocre restaurant even for a hotel. Very disappointed.

8.5/10Service was very good! Unfortunately the food was serverd cold when we had dinner at the roof top . However when we complained they immediately changed it and apologized and provided complimentary desserts. Size of the Main courses are small , so you have to go for appetizers and both courses

10/10I am no stranger to good food or good service. This restaurant and the staff are a great example of both. Friendly and professional is how I would describe our waiters demeanor and yes he had to endure some Americanisms line eating early . We were the first couple seated at 7pm. The restaurant was full by 8 and the atmosphere remained calm with a hint of sophistication. My wife and I celebrated her birthday and we will be back ! Mitch and Alisa

10/10Wow, what a fabulous little gem. Views of Rome & The Vatican. Absolutely amazing food & wine. Staff were exceptionally helpful even suggesting their recommendations when I was stuck between choosing a main. Price was fairly reasonable, but I’ve got to go back to the view, it was awesome ❤️

8/10I was hoping that this would be the perfect last night in Rome for us. Much was very good. The service excellent. The food very good. The view not as expected. The live music good but way too loud. The price tag - high, as expected. But not completely worth it.

9.5/10Excellent service and food! Would highly recommend eating here while in Rome. We were supposed to eat on the terrace, but unfortunately it was too cold. Upon arrival they recommended we have a cocktail on the roof first and come down for dinner whenever we were ready. Such nice staff! Even with the change in seating we really enjoyed our experience.

10/10Loved this place! The food was exceptional and not over priced. I recommend the beef and the pork in particular but we also really enjoyed the sharing platter as a starter. The Millefeuille for dessert was amazing! Our waiter was Andrea, he was attentive, friendly and full of recommendations. Full marks!

10/10Fabulous restaurant. The service is phenomenal. The food was so delicious. The dates are so attentive and friendly. Absolutely love this place. They have a rooftop that is being renovated. I will definitely return again to dine on the rooftop.

10/10It was our 1 year wedding anniversary dinner, first time in Rome, and if we had to answer if we would come back to Rome or not just based on the restaurant experience, our response would be a definite yes! I Sofa Restaurant is an amazing place to be with friends, family and even for a romantic dinner, which was our case. The staff is very professional and also friendly, always trying to accommodate our needs and making sure things were up to standard. The food was amazing and very high quality ingredients that will make your tastebuds pop. Finally, the view and the environment are just beautiful! Our dinner was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Rome, and I can’t wait to be back there again. I definitely recommend this fine restaurant!

6.5/10Meh. Not worth the price. Food was 4/10. Service 9/10. Atmosphere 9/10. Prices 3/10. Trys Tobe very fancy but the quality is not there. With the atmosphere the restaurant should go for fun not fancy.
