10/10I am a concierge guest host, bringing guests to Siena every week on tours through Tuscany. Il Banderino is consistently good. Although it could be considered as “touristy” as it is on The ZCampo, it is still one of my favorite places in Siena. Some of the best Pici Cacio e Pepe ANYWHERE. During tonight’s meal, a HUGE storm blew up and forced all of the al fresco diners inside. The team there quickly moved all inside and worked tirelessly to accommodate every guest! Grazie Louie for coming to our rescue!!!

2/10Made a reservation months ago for our visit to Siena. Arrived on time and was taken through a completely empty dining room to a very stuffy upstairs that was filled with screaming children. Went back down and was told that was the only place for us to sit even though the dining room was empty but for one table. We left. Rude Staff and I'm not paying for a $200 meal to sit in the kiddie section.

10/10We were looking for a quick bite and ended up sharing a pizza on a Saturday evening. It was busy but we got a table at 8pm on the main square. It was a little loud but overall great atmosphere and delicious food!

9.5/10Upon arrival this restaurant was the busiest and we realised why soon after sitting. It created a buzz atmostphere and all the food looked amazing. Staff were friendly, vino nice and cold!

10/10I am a guide and bring my guests to Il Banderino every week. It has a broad menu, great service and food. To be in a very "touristy" part of Siena, Banderino continues to be my "go to" for an experience in the Campo. Bravo!

7.5/10Good pizza but not exceptional, but the tiramisu is excellent (homemade with real italian expresso !). The location is very nice, we had dinner outside, on the very beautiful piazza del Campo. We had to ask three time for a bottle of water but unlike other customers, we had the reduction of 20% without havîng to ask for it.

6/10The food was not bad at all, but if you compare privé and quality, you can eat a lot better elsewhere in Tuscany. Moreover, sunscreens were removed before the sun went down.

6/10We got there and got seated immediately because of our reservations. The most difficult thing was figuring out where to park! Our table was on the campo so we had an excellent view. We sat there a while before someone finally came to take our order. We all ordered our food - there were 10 of us. In just a few minutes two people got their orders. Then others started to arrive. Three of us did not get our food until everyone else had finished! The waiter was not attentive at all. They brought us a bottle of Limoncello as a gift at the end of the meal.

7/10The food we had (pizza’s) were very good. Unfortunately service not so good. Four of our mains came with the fifth person’s starter and then no one came to collect the finished starter and no final main dish arrived.

10/10I am an American guide living here in Tuscany. Although Il Banderino would be considered "touristy", there is NO better location to be found in Siena, as you sit inside the Piazza del Campo. The food is excellent and service great. I typically add a visit there with every guest. For a special treat, the Cacio e Pepe cannot be beat! Simple, but well done!!

6/10Charging 20% for service and only indicating it in a foot note on a menu is just bold. Quality of food was good. Service was also ok. But would never visit again since the 20% service fee.

8/10Great pizzas especially the Calzone. Very attentive and helpful staff. Overlooking the central square so quite touristy.. but definitely recommended. Heavy rain and storms meant the latter part of the meal (as we were sitting outside) was a bit like ‘musical tables’. The staff however handled the whole thing professionally and with aplomb.

8.5/10Really nice view of the piazza for lunch on a beautiful day. Ample seating both inside and out. Good food and beverage selection. A bit pricey but on par with what you would pay for piazza people watching. Would recommend.

10/10Really good experience. Just for the record, the prices are slightly high compared to other places we’ve eaten on our Italy trip and they add a 20% service fee. That said, we would go again as the food and location were great.

10/10booked with the fork discount. it’s a bit on the expensive side as is but very worth with the discount! beautiful service, delicious pizzas & salads, generous drink sizes. we even got given a free little entree from the chef, and the typical limoncello shots after the meal.

9.5/10Service was really good. We had the steak and fries that are shown on many TripAdvisor photos. Food was good and staff attentive. Would recommend a visit. The location is excellent and felt we were not getting ripped off in price for where you were. The owner was really helpful to get s taxi ordered from the restaurant.

4.5/10I asked for a Caesar salad rich was terrible, the chicken wasn't made at the moment and it was even cold. I wouldn't recommend this place...
