So glad we booked ahead as this is a popular place! Almost missed the entrance, but a wooden door from the street leads into a friendly safe and welcoming restaurant. Food was excellent and service too. Very impressed with the safety measures, a QR code for the camera on your phone lists the full food and drinks menus. Tables were appropriately spaced and hand gel outside to use before you enter. Would definitely recommend for great food and service too. I didn’t see anything on the menu particularly for vegetarians, so best to check before you go.

This place is off the main tourist track but only a few hundred metres from the sea front it’s well worth a visit. We’d already decided to go there given the reviews and that we were staying close by. The hotel asked if we wanted them to suggest places to eat and when we said we we going here they simply said ‘good choice’. On arrival we were welcomed by friendly staff and with our broken Italian managed to order some food! As we made the effort they were keen to speak English though. Food was very good, not a huge choice on the menu but that’s a good sign as it’s all freshly prepared. Overall a very pleasant evening and would recommend
