If I could give this restaurant no stars, I would. We came in as a family of 5 with reservations. We arrived 15 minutes early and were seated right away. The lady that sat us was very pleasant…that is the only good thing I can really say. As soon as we got sat the waiter came and pushed us to order with a very rude demeanor. They got our drinks and pasta and never came back to our table, but did go to another table that was by us multiple times…that table spoke Italian and we are Americans. After reading reviews it did feel as if we were not treated the same as others in the restaurant. My husband went to pay as soon as we got done eating as we felt we were in their way with the looks and lack of service we received. Our waiter just left my husband standing at the register and finally the older lady who sat us helped him. I would NEVER give my money to this place again. Not okay to treat people this way. Osteria De Fortunata was hands done a better pasta and service if debating.

Came for the pasta wheel. The food was delicious and our waiter was great. The only disappointment was the pasta wheel. I had expected them to do it in front of us. However, it was just brought out and presented, then served.

10/10Server was absolutely fantastic. Perfect amount of charm without being over barring. Food was delicious and fresh. We had both options that were mixed in the cheese wheel table side, a great touch. The decor was lovely and it had a very nice relaxing feel. Will definitely visit again.

10/10The food was perfect, Roman artichokes were lemony and perfect , spinach ricotta ravioli was melt in your mouth, and the warm ricotta chocolate tart was amazing. Grazi, best meal I had in Rome

7.5/10Service and ambience was great. Fried prawns and calamari met expectation. Amaritriana was awesome. Fetuccini with porcini mushroom was very good. Sauteed lamb was too salty, unfortunately. Pricey for the serve size of dishes.

The carbonara is a must and the homemade tiramisu is the best I've had in Rome so far! The house red wine is also delicious and so will be ordering a bottle back home. Definitely visit!

5/10Wished this dinner with my family of 4 would have gone better. Restaurant was not busy, a couple who asked for a private table away from people were seated next to us as we were speaking English. They fought the entire dinner and didn’t realize I spoke Italian and understood each word. Service was nonexistent and rude. Asked for more drinks to 2 different staff members and no one brought any. Main course was rudely flopped down in front of us (and delivered to the wrong people) and I literally had the check flipped to me at the end when we didn’t even bother with coffee or dessert. Fighting couple were treated warmly by all staff. Didn’t have a single other experience like this in 3 weeks in Europe and it’s safe to say we won’t back.

6.5/10Service - started off well but as soon as we placed our order, our waiter never came back to check on us. Our antipasto was served after our primo/secondo. We would have liked to order more drinks, and dessert, but we had to keep asking for help. Even after asking for help, the response was slow. Other tables around us had attentive service. Ambience - one table had a dog that would bark very loudly at people and other dogs walking by which was very startling. We love dogs but it became a nuisance. Food - the roasted lamb was delicious, the rest of our meal was ok. Better service would have saved this. If our waiter was moved from our section, let us know! It was all very odd. Definitely won’t return to this restaurant again when there are so many great ones to choose from.

9/10We were looking for a restaurant that serves Roman dishes -- we got it. My clam pasta was simple but excellent. My husband's carbonara had more pepper than he's used to. I got a tiramisu that was deliciously creamy. The cool interior was a welcome escape from the summer heatwave outdoors. Its location in the Prati district avoids the teeming sea of humanity in the other districts of Rome.

10/10We had a lovely dinner on the patio on our last night in Rome. Perfect way to end the trip. Market fish of the day was delicious. Must have is the tiramisu. My mouth still waters thinking about it.

We had the mash potatoes and meatballs in a tomato sauce and the cheese wheel pasta dishes and to finish we had the chocolate cake and cream. The pasta was amazing and the dessert was too. The meatballs were good and the mashed potatoes were a little cool, not cold but not hot like every thing else was nice and hot. But you can tell the mashed potatoes were home made, just needed to be nice and warm but weren’t.

6/10The restaurant is located in a good location, staff members are friendly, atmosphere is good, a good place to go with a family. On the other hand, the food I ordered was not really good, it felt like it was over cooked or didn't cook properly.

8/10Very good food! Quiet - nice place. If tourist in Rome (only) - assume you will be seated in the worst spot together most places 😂. Rome always put the locals in the best one area together and if you’re aware you’ll see they segregate all tourist or non locals will sit in the worst spots in 75% of Rome restaurants. This restaurant did the typical segregation. Our food and service was very good. Waiter didn’t have much of a personality . But food quality worth it !

A wonderful find from a recommendation from our apartment rental host. Food was well and thoughtfully prepared; table side presentations of different entrees and desserts added to the charm. The ambiance was classic wine cellar atmosphere; clearly well created. Then, the service…poor would be considerate. We received better attention by other servers and staff, than our own server.

6.5/10Pasta is served from cheese wheel, however, there is not much cheese and flavour at all. It also get cold fast. I cant reccommend the cacco e pepe because we had much better ones. The interiour is nice, waiter was fine. House wine - the white one - wasnt good. We were dissapointed. After trying other - much worse looking and cheaper restaurants at Roma, we cannot recommend this place.
