10/10What a stunning environment. Nestled in the hills the restaurant offers an authentic Italian setting. Seating outside and inside. The restaurant is decorated in typical Italian style. The food was exceptional and the staff Stefano the owner and his lovely assistant Virginia were so friendly and truly made our experience a memorable one .

9.5/10We needlessly worried whether Il Convio welcomed Americans. The embrace was full. Every dish was high quality in ingredient, preparation and taste. Rich antipasto. Savory truffles. The bass, amazing. The steak (though hugging the rare side), so flavorful. Tasty artichoke and asparagus. Perfect pasta. Yummy potatoes. Luscious deserts. Red wine in Kool-Aid like carafes. Beautiful rotational settings on clay chargers. Remote and charming ambiance. (Maybe ask for an interior table on chilly nights.) Perfect service. One of our best Italian dinners. 4 hours of yes, yes, yes for less than $65 per person - antipasto, first, second (wonderful shared steak too), wine and desert - embarrassing value.

10/10great food, service and ambience with plenty outdoor space for kids to play . The owner is a super nice, welcoming us with big smile at the entrance. highly recommended if you want to try San Minato specialities at the high quality

10/10The food, the wine, the service and the atmosphere! We just had lunch there with two family with kids between 8 and 1, perfect place to have them running around while the parents enjoy a great lunch.

10/10A real italien restaurant, just what I looked for. Im a little bit sad that my boyfriend didnt want to go there the next day, he insteed find another restaurant, but it wasnt so cozy and the food not so good. So I do hope next time we come to Italy, we can go to Il Convo again.

10/10One of the Best restaurant we had in the last 10 days! Service was really good, solid English, real quick! Food was incredible! The beef was perfect, the paste delicious and the wine great! All in all we would love to come back as soon as possible!

10/10Superb experience. Very friendly staff who were very welcoming. the local Sangiovese wine was excellent, home made bread again, superb. all the food served was of a very high quality. Thoughrouly recommend this restaurant.
