10/10It is hard to choose what was most memorable but every category exceeded our expectations. The most important is usually the food and it was the best since we’ve been in Sicily. But they really treat you as a valuable friend, and the ambience is fantastic.

Swordfish and pasta, both Siracusa style, were really tasty. Torta di Limone also great old school baking. The inner yard was nice place to eat, but the plastic table was a bit wobbly. The ö waiter was really friendly, but being alone he had too many clients at the same time.

We first visited this restaurant 3 years ago and it was so welcoming that we decided to return on this trip. It is a small, family run restaurant and the family are so friendly. We had lots of conversation with the owner, despite the language barrier! The food was tasty and good value.

Our table of 4 was treated so beautifully, it made a very memorable experience. The Siracusan specialties were delicious-tuna with pistachio, swordfish and pasta all norma-All perfecto! Mille graze!

7/10The food and atmosphere were wonderful. Sadly the service was overwhelmed and nervous which slightly took away from the pleasure. We had to ask a few times for the bill.

10/10Triple crown! Great food, service, and ambience. Our party of four had the appetizer of mussels with white wine and shared two orders of breaded chicken and pasta with eggplant. Everything we ordered was delicious. Wait staff was very attentive, professional, and efficient. The setting of this restaurant was also really nice. We plan on returning during our stay in Ortigia.

2/10The seating is uncomfortable, plastic chairs and portable tables. No ambiance at all. We ordered the veal scallopine and the pasta Bolognese. We have visited Italy often and never had a meal of such poor quality. The pasta was hard (not al dente), the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, and it was not hot. The veal was tough and most of it was inedible. The meals had little taste. This is a typical tourist trap - STAY CLEAR!

Mi dispiace, non vorrei offendervi, come voi avete fatto con il nostro operato, ma di cibo non ne capite assolutamente niente. Il sugo del barattolo come chiama lei era il ragù realizzato con il filetto, cucinato fresco ogni giorno. Le sedie di plastica che chiama lei, sono sedie e tavoli gran soleir leader indiscusso per arredamento per esterni per ristoranti. Se crede che un ristorante dentro un cortile del 1700 non abbia atmosfera non so cosa dire. La pasta orribile che dice lei, è pasta fatta in casa, quindi mi dispiace deludervi ma ho l'impressione che di cibo italiano non ne avete minimamente idea di quale fosse quello vero e fatto bene. La stragrande maggioranza delle recensioni parlano da sole... vi commentate da soli... il problema evidente era il conto come sempre chi critica ma mangia tutto facendo anche la scarpetta... vergognosi

10/10I am so thankful I located II Corrtile Di Archmede via trip advisor when planning our trip to Siracusa. We returned three times during our stay as it was that good. The Eggplant Parmesan starter was perfectly prepared, tender and flavorful. We ordered this every visit. The Mussel starter was a large portion and flavorful. Enough to share or enjoy as a main dish. My boys loved the Tagliolini with mussels, clams, squids, shrimp. For main dishes my husband and I alternated between the Tuna in a pistachio crust with caponata, Roasted whole Seabass and Roasted prawns. All dishes were amazing. The portions are generous. The staff provided friendly and professional service. This gem can be found in a little alley that offers a shady and cool spot to enjoy lunch or dinner. This family run establishment receives my highest compliments.

8/10Charming restaurant sitting in an old building’s hallway. The food was good, and the service, although a bit rushed, was satisfactory. However, with a bill of €100 for two people, it’s teetering on the edge of being a tourist trap. I wouldn’t return.

10/10A great find. Charming restaurant serving great food - creative salads to start, delicious seafood risotto and fabulous swordfish with olives and capers and somehow we managed an excellent tiramisu with strong coffee flavour. Very good local wine. First class service.

10/10Top notch! We got this recommendation from Reddit and it truly lived up, the food was excellent and the service excellent. We had seafood pasta and grilled mixed seafood, and both were absolutely delicious. A gem in Ortygia - thank you again!

10/10Amazing food and friendly service. We went there two nights in a row for dinner. The seafood risotto was to die for. Great prices and great menu. Family owned and managed. Overall 10/10 I would highly recommend to make reservations but they accommodate us the first night when we walked in. We would highly suggest this restaurant to anyone who is looking to have a great meal. Thank you to the chef and the staff. ❤️

10/10Don’t be put off by the very rustic setting, the food is fantastic I particularly recommend Pasta Siracusa which was an amazing combination of flavours, plus my daughters Carbonara was one of the best we’ve had in Italy. Prices very reasonable.
