Very bad experience with this restaurant. We came, sit and they brought us menus. After few minutes when we were about to order, the waiter approuched our table and he told us that is not possible to order fish or any other second meal from the menu. When I askes why, the answer was "because the supplier did not bring the stuff". My opinion is because the reservation trough the fork app was on -50% discount. Btw, all other tables around us were full of food and people ate different dishes. Anyways, we did not want to stay and we left.

this was a really bad experience from start to finnish, service slow, and the food was really tasteless, and very small portions. The spagetti vongoli was problaby the worst I ever had, totally without taste.

Corto Maltese 22 is a small restaurant with some tables on the outside pavement. Staff is nice, kind and hardworking. Unfortunately food was not what we expected. We had three starters which one of them was really salted, mussels came extremely soft (were they cooked multiple times?) and courgette flowers were too battered. The main was quite dry and did not taste of clams. As overall, food was not really tasty. A shame considering the reviews read.
Il Corto Maltese 22This week's temperatures have caused quite a few problems for our dishes and especially the Fresh Mussels suffer it in the first place, alas they must necessarily be opened to be able to serve them a Soutè and we do it at the moment as they require a preparation of 1.5 minutes so it would be ridiculous to cook them before, the zucchini flowers as shown on the menu are in batter and therefore like any fried in batter that respects itself they are nice loads, I don't know about those main courses I'm talking about to be able to give them an answer but I'm sorry that you didn't like our simple trattoria cuisine.

Abiamo mangiato buonissimo! Il cibo espectacolare! La pasta fresca, il polpo e amaro fatto in casa. Grazie mille. If you are in Lecce you have to visit this restaurant, the owner is amazing he offerd us home made appetizers and amaro to finish our delicious lunch. Real italian food with regional dishes.

octopus was excellent but scorpion fish was flavourless. service was almost non-existent. had to ask for bread. never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. too busy on her phone

loved the ambience because of the jazz music. We ordered chicken and it was very nice and delicious. we also ordered the Orecchiette with anchovis and its was not bad.

The staff were lovely & very helpful, restaurant slightly off the beaten track but delicious food. Wonderful sharing starter bursting with flavour, delicious local produce. Carla our waitress was delightful. Very pleasant evening

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner for two. The food was good and plentiful. Service friendly and efficient neither rushed or tardy. A good experience which we would be happy to repeat.
