From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm, welcoming atmosphere was enhanced by the friendly smiles of the staff, who were both attentive and knowledgeable. Me and my partner both got steak and it was cooked to perfection! The panna cotta for dessert was the perfect, creamy ending. This restaurant offers an exceptional experience and couldn’t recommend it enough if you are planning a visit to Lake Como.

We were staying at Villa Deste and wanted to eat dinner off the property. It was a rainy evening and looked up this restaurant and so glad we did the ambiance was beautiful and the food and service was perfecto.

Service has always been poor, but the food was great. This time the food was mediocre. I doubt we will come back.

I was very impressed by the atmosphere and the reviews of the restaurant when looking for the best place to celebrate my 50th birthday in lovely Italy. That was the reаson to choose Il Diavolo l'Acqua Santa. As me and my family have never been their guests and we were not familiar with the layout of the tables, I kindly asked them to offer us a more private table. I was very surprised when we were taken to a salon and seated among all the other guests, ignoring my request and the special occasion. Besides this, the food was delicious.

We had a wonderful meal here. The food was amazing. My husband’s duck was out of this world and my tagliatelle was really good. The chef combines culinary skills with creativity. Highly recommend it!

While it was a very hot night, the food made up for that discomfort. I had the lasagna and my husband ordered the gnocchi for our primi with both bring amazing. We then shared a veal dish and spinach which did not disappoint.

We were looking for a steakhouse restaurant and found Il Diavolo I’Aqua Santa. The restaurant has reviews, and they are correct!! The food is delicious, well-seasoned, and tasty. They also have an extensive selection of wines. Don’t forget to add the tiramisu dessert!!

Very friendly and very attentive to my allergies. The duck first course was amazing! As was the rest of our meals. Great wine recommendation too! We enjoyed our meal and our time there very much.

Fantastic restaurant. Food and drink were excellent. Quality of the beef was outstanding. We were given a very warm welcome and they even arranged a taxi back to where we were staying. Will be back next time we're in Como

This restaurant was such a great find in como, felt so authentic, the food was insanely delicious and the ambience/decor of the restaurant was beautiful. Better than the Michelin star restaurant we went to on this trip, probably our favorite throughout Italy thus far!

Lovely food on a quiet garden patio in a restaurant that used to be a stable of a Villa on the hill above Como. Highly recommend the carne appetizer with the truffle - delicious. Just be advised you will need a ride up the steep hill and taxi service is hard to find at least during July when we visited.

We came to Il Diavolo for a meal outside of the main area of Como where we had been staying. The restaurant is in a more secluded area but it was just amazing. The decor, food and service were all top tier

The place is amazing, with a very special atmosphere, really pleasant and unique. When you pass the door you know it’s going to be something special. The food is great, unlike anything else we tasted in Italy. Great desserts! Service, knowing that we are being charged for service, could be a little nicer, we missed some warmth and and smiles on the faces, but everything else was great.

+1I would say overall was a good experience. 2 comments only: 1. After the first serving, expect to refill your own glass with wine or sparkling wine. 2. Beef Carpatio was more like mortadella.

Wonderful setting, service and food to match. I had the Orange ragu pasta, which was tasty as it was different.. The Rosini was a triumph and the best piece of meat I've had in a long time. Cooked to perfection, pink in the middle, crispy on the outside, So tender, it melted in the mouth. Wife had the stuffed Ravoli with Truffles which went down extremely well. Detailed wine list and reasonably priced. Free limoncello's to boot.. Would highly recommend and should we be in Como again, would definitely return.

Beautiful restaurant! The food was delicious - especially the steaks and the Semifreddo Passion Fruit! The service was quick and the staff were very friendly too.
