8/10While our meal was very good ,the waiter and sommelier were very efficacious .Specifically we wanted a wine pairing and we’re told it is for the whole table only .Considering that two of our party of four wanted vegetarian and the other two had the seasonal Tuscan ,why could this not be accommodated .What if we were separated two and two ? It made no sense . He was inflexible. Also from my perspective some of the dishes were over salted. We have stayed there twice and had exceptional experience.This was somewhat less friendly than previous visits.

6.5/10The restaurant is very elegant, excellent structure. Service is good, but more was expected for a Michelan starred restaurant…! The wine service was not done properly, even though they have a winery next to the establishment and their own wines. When serving wine, servers should wrap the bottle in a clean cloth napkin to protect it from the heat of their hands. This is essential for serving red wines that aren't chilled, but your customers will likely appreciate the extra effort you're putting into ensuring the perfect conditions for the wine. Your servers should always serve in a clockwise pattern and serve the women first (even if that means going around the table twice). They must finish by serving the customer who ordered the wine, regardless of gender. They must also always serve on the right side of the customer. This ritual was not respected. Then we stayed for another 10 minutes with an empty glass of wine and water, as the side table was far from the customer's reach. As for the food, the quality is very good, but the quantity is a little lacking. But in the buns to supply the deficiency. Maybe they are programming portions to follow 5 courses….!! We were still unlucky to find mosquitoes at the entrance. Overall it's good, but not good value for money. I wouldn't be saying all these remarks though, in a Michelan-starred restaurant, all service is expected to be impeccable. You pay well (250 Euros with wine) … you pay well!

10/10Everything about Il Falconiere is worthy of the MIchelin star that it holds. The dining room is one of the most beautiful spaces you will ever see. The service is IMPECCABLE, including little details - we were a party of 4 with one person drinking sparkling water and the other 3 drinking still, and they placed a small coaster under the glass of the one drinking sparkling to avoid questions. Also at the end of the meal when they provide you with a mixed dessert platter and small plates/forks, the forks were set at different angles for who was left-handed vs. right-handed. The presentation and quality of the food was exceptional - there was not one dish that was not special.

10/10Great diner experience with very nice view over the valley of Cortona. The different kinds of tasting menus were all of high quality, with extensive and well matching wines choices to complement. Definitely a recommendation for fine dining in the area of Cortona

5.5/10We had two different set tasting menus. The food was fine, but not Michelin star quality in my opinion. And it was overpriced. We were seated indoors, I assume because it was too hot outdoors in the sun. But the interior decor is outdated. I think it would be nicer if you sit outdoors in the evening and you order a la carte.

9/10A birthday lunch booked at quite short notice, service was impeccable, food very good with just one or two areas where for the price they could do a little better. Excellent pre starter and amazing pre-desert!

10/10Very elegant and fabulous food. The location is great with spectacular views of Cortona valley. Service was attentive but not pretentious. It is not inexpensive but well worth the price.

10/10Il Falconiere is a place in paradise. The chefs are amazingly talented, the food is beyond delicious, and the service is impecable. The view outdoors is heavenly, overlooking the Tuscany valley. It doesn't get much better than this! Definitely worth another Michelin star!
