Nice restaurant in an old city with very good food and fantastic staff. Took their signature dishes set menu. Professional plating and good timing in between every serving. Pairing if the wine with the dishes was exceptional🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

This restaurant is one of the best I have ever been to. The food was amazing and cost about half what a similar meal would cost us back home (Australia) The best part of the meal was the smoked spaghetti dish closely followed by the ‘eggplant pie’ ( not really a pie) but the steak and the chocolate desert were also perfect. The basil ice cream desert did not suit us but was also perfectly put together and presented and they are lovely people

Very good food and dito wines in a lovely piazza. The menu is worth every penny - all the dishes were nicely presented with our favourite being the smokey pasta. Attentive and knowledgeable staff.

With a little struggle finding the restaurant (our satnav struggled!) we arrived at this underground cave for our meal. The staff were wonderful, well informed on every level from wine to food and spoke perfect English not that we expected it. We had the tasting menu and it did not disappoint; from local specialities with a creative edge our tastebuds were certainly given a workout. The wine list is fabulous too. All in all a lovely evening.

This is an intimate restaurant located in the historic upper city center. The food is creative and detailed, and an extensive wine list is available for painting, including many unique regional varietals. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the flavor combinations are interesting a delicious. Two tasting menus and a la carte ordering are available.

We enjoyed every moment at Il Frantoio. The setting is great in an old Olive Press and Cellar, the service is impeccable and the food outstanding. Authentic Tuscan cuisine with a modern twist. We did the tasting menu and every dish was wonderful. We hope to return one day. Thank you for making my birthday special.

This place was an outstanding find. We celebrated our anniversary there and both went for the five-meal, which was a great value for the quality of the food. The chef combines unique ingredients to make exquisite but delicious dish creations. The ambiance in a small but typical Italian town with a medieval charm makes the experience all the more rewarding. The server always seemed to put great value in our input as well when it came to wine preferences and other suggestions he could make. We will certainly be visiting this restaurant again someday.

Italian classics but with a modern twist that elevates traditional dishes into the 21st century. Plated with style and technically accomplished the menu was accompanied with an interesting and occasionally eclectic wine list. Recommend.

Interesting classy menu. Each dish we had was excellent and service was efficient and friendly. Not cheap (€120 for two) but worth the money because of the quality of the food.

The restaurant was a delightful surprise when we entered. It was simply a door on the street but when we entered it had a charming atmosphere decorated with old grinding implements in a cave-like setting. Our waiter was charming and attentive and food was fabulous. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
