This is a lovely restaurant, with a great atmosphere and really good food. We had a highly enjoyable evening there and recommend it. One thing to note is that when you are given the bill, probably no one will appear to take your money or card - you pay on your way out in a little side room. Also, there are no purely vegetarian meals, (it is all meat and fish) which did not matter to us as we are not vegetarians. It is definitely worth giving this restaurant a go.

A delightful experience. There is both patio or inside dining, on a narrow side street. There were a number of options on the menu. I needed gluten-free and all my options were explained to me. We shared the meet and cheese appetizer which also came with lightly fried, non greasy veggies and a stuffed zucchini blossom which are rare in the US. The waiter put the fried di items near my husband and indicated I should not eat them; referring to the fact they contained gluten. He was correct but I am not celiac so I enjoyed a bite of the blossom. The course was so abundant that we opted to share a steak with mushrooms. The bread plate included three types of Italian bread and two breads made from pizza dough. I just lusted after them. Steak tender and delicious. We also enjoyed a bottle of sparkling water and a great bottle of Barolo. Total bill €100. Barolo was half of it. That bottle alone would be so much more at home. Pizzas were on the menu and looked thin crusted and very appetizing as well as several fresh pasta dishes. The owner was very active in welcoming his guests and took us on a tour of the rest of the building before we left. Our experience was excellent and we highly recommend it.
