5.5/10We booked through TheFork because the restaurant promised payment via TheFork Pay. Upon arrival, we asked for water, but after 20 minutes and no service, we had to request it again from another waitress. Meanwhile, we ordered spaghetti cacio e pepe—a famous vegetarian dish . 25 minutes later, my dish arrived with speck (pork), never mentioned anywhere. I had to send it back and wait 20 more minutes for an alternative. At the end, I paid via TheFork Pay as advertised. Only then did the waiter argue it was impossible and insisted I pay again. He called the owner, who rudely complained about the payment delay—a problem caused by TheFork, not me. This refusal to honor advertised payment methods and poor service was unacceptable and a clear warning to others.

8.5/10Got here with the family when they opened at 7, there was no one there but us for over an hour. Then it got very busy very quickly. It's a beautiful restaurant with lots of tables and a good vibe. Lots of couples, lots of kids, lots of locals and tourists alike. The food was very good, we loved the pizzas and watching them be made! The children loved the pasta and risotto. You'll need a cab to get here though. It's not on the bus line but cabs are never more than 25 euros

10/10It was a very nice restaurant with great service. The staff gave me a nice souvenir from Ischia. I recommend you to go here, the food is very good.

5.5/10Easily the worst pasta you can get anywhere in Italy. Pizza seems to be popular with the locals. Perhaps this is why reviews are generally good?

10/10The food was absolutely incredible...and Nino gave us excellent recommendations for our group of 6. And even have us tips for rest of the island. The tiramisu was the best we had ever... the specials also.. only wish we lived in Italy to go again. Thanks Nino for all :)

8/10A decent place for steak, pizza and a few other bits including pasta dishes and some familiar regional dishes. Nothing stellar but it’s ok for a family outing offering something for everyone if you don’t fancy fish.

8.5/10The place is very much aligned with the comments reflected on the Fork's website. The doughed and fried pumpkin flowers were very tasty, followed by a pizza marinara with a fairly light base, while retaining the richness of the tomato sauce and a generous sprinkle of extra virgin olive oil. No place for dessert after such a hearty meal, but fairly satisfied with the place and the food. Last note is on the almost eerie quietness of the place, but well understood under the current circumstances. All in all, it does what it says on the tin, so definitely a thumbs up.

10/10Lovely spot, really excellent service and an impressive grilled beef. Would recommend the costata con osso 1 kg. Tender but tasty meat and they provide a tableside grill so that each strip is perfectly cooked to your taste. Nice well-run family restaurant in a pleasant garden setting. We also ate handmade ravioli that were perfect. Will come again next time we're in Ischia!

10/10We had a lovely time at Il Giardino! We ordered the mozzarella (one with tomato and one with prosciutto), the ravioli special with olives, cheese, and capers and the Neapolitan DOC pizza along with the house white wine. Everything was delicious! The did not short us on fresh produce on any of our dishes, The Tiramisu dessert was incredible!! One of the best we have had on our trip to Italy. This was clearly a local spot for pizza as many pizzas were being delivered/ carry out while we were enjoying our meal. Our server was friendly and helpful. The area was very spacious surrounded by a lush garden.
