8/10We enjoyed our meal at Il Girasole on our first night in Rome. The restaurant is quite small and the tables are close together but this adds to the ambiance as well as the gentleman playing the piano. The food is tasty and good value and the service was good. Recommend booking as it is busy.

Service was impeccable I loved the 1l stein of beer! Food was gorgeous we had the pasta and the chicken. We couldn’t manage desert but they sounded amazingly tasty. Also the pianist was brilliant to add to the atmosphere, he asked me if i wanted him to play something I said what kind of thing, he said anything! I said how about some Coldplay and he then proceeded to play Coldplay on the piano absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner great lighting and atmosphere too. Will be back! Thank you!

10/10We loved everything about this restaurant: the size, the decor, the weight staff, the food, and the piano music which others have mentioned. In fact, we liked it so much we returned the next night and had different items, but they were equally good. The price is right, the servings are ample, and the food was delicious.

Pretty nice in general, good food, live piano music, good atmosphere. Though they didn't do coffee without lactose or with vegetal milk. Also, they forgot to put The Fork discoint in the bill so needed to remind them

10/10This place was wonderful! Food, service, ambiance. All were incredible. Had a reservation which helped for our party of 5. Piano player was so fun and took our requests. We all had something different to eat and every choice was fantastic. Such a great spot! Highly recommend.

10/10The piano player added such a lovely ambiance to our dinner, and he played some of our favorite tunes (Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” and The Beatles’ “Michelle”). The food was superb; I had the best lasagna I’ve ever tasted, and you can’t go wrong with the fried Nutella balls for dessert!

10/10This place has the happiest vibe—everyone seemed happy to be there enjoying good food and the delightful love piano playing. Can’t think of a more pleasant place to enjoy a carafe of wine and a plate of bucatini all’amatriciana.

Fabulous care and attention by the staff we had a very pleasant and enjoyable first night so much so we went again and they treated this extra special the second night. Good food good wine and a European Roman experience what is not to love!? A few broken dishes and friends made! Opa Ciao Ciao Ciao

9.5/10+tasty food at a fair price - a bit to many tables in a to small space for our taste. We sat next to the piano, we are not a fan of life piano during dinner and sitting right next to it was to loud for us But appart from that, deffinitely one of the better restauranys inthat neighbourhood

5/10Italian food for unaware tourists. Wine is served by someone not having any knowledge of any wine or regions of Italy. Food is served by someone having no knowledge of the ingredients or Italian cuisine. The pianist saved the atmosphere and the evening.

2/10The pasta dishes and pizzas were not very good, the service was slow, the outside dining area was right up close to a narrow busy road, and the icing on the cake, they added a 10 Euro service charge to the bill, then claimed to have no change when we paid in cash, to try to add on nearly another 10. There are so many better restaurants in Rome - this is one to avoid!
