What a gem restaurant. A little hard to locate, but beyond that, quite exceptional. Very attentive from the moment you enter. The dining area is charming and relatively quiet. We began with the gnocchi with truffles - amazingly delicious. Followed by breast of chicken along with grilled artichokes. So much food, but so tasty! Could not try desert because we ate so much, but wonderful choices. Understand why this establishment recognized by Michelin. I highly recommend reserving a table and eating here.

Good day, I have been in Il Giurista for dinner. I would like to share my experience. I am Asian man, with my couple and her mom (senior lady). First of all, the most important thing, the food. I think, it's just so so. And we are not asked..they were not even try to offer us more truffle or do we want it more or not. Second of all, despite one of the waiters with the unique beard serve us well, all the waiters had asked all the guests to hang their jackets at the specific place except us, not even try to offer that kind of gesture to us. Third, the ambience maybe not the best and not the worst, it's just ok. Can not build the mood to the certain degree. That was my experience, grazie.

Honestly, we expected more, especially considering that this restaurant prides itself on being listed in the Michelin Guide. We had a reservation for 7:30 PM, but they urged us to come at 7:15 PM to ensure the table would be available by 9:15 PM. It took a long time before our waitress came to take our order, and there was no explanation about the dishes. The food was nice, but given the restaurant’s rating, we anticipated something exceptional. .

Because we enjoyed a dinner at Il Giurista so much, we returned for lunch a couple of days later. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. The service was quite good. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I was excited to eat here as it is a Michelin Recommended restaurant. I always trust Michelin with their recommendations and have eaten at several recommended, gourmand and star ⭐️ restaurants. So I think I was expecting more from the restaurant. Also I was very indecisive of what to have and feel the primi I selected gnocchi with zucca was good it was just a bit underwhelming for me. However the pecorino soufflé was excellent. The service was good but not great especially for a restaurant recommended by Michelin. Is it worth the stop yes but I recommend looking at other highly rated places on FORK as well.

The ambience of the restaurant is very authentic and cosi. I was by myself and during the whole dinner I had the feeling that the waiters are not happy that I dine alone. When the waiter came to take my order he was so much in a hurry seems like we are in McDonald's and he doesn't have the time for me. The food was prepared very fast but it was nothing special. I can't recommend it especially to foreigners, all the attention was focused on the italians even though I speak pretty good Italian.

Simple dishes , cooked well. Amuse Bouche, Chicken liver starters, pork cheeks, sirloin with lardo all excellent. Side salad and beautiful €?7 cannellini beans on the side with good house red at €14 was a lovely lunch.

Service was good with some quirky and fun waiters. I was disappointed with the food since it had a Michelin rating in 2023. That certainly was not the case on this visit. Food was somewhat what bland, truffles did not have much flavour, reminiscent of good home cooked food, definitely not Michelin standard.

Definitely worth a visit when you are a foodie. What was surprising to me was the size of the dishes. Very high quality, and rather big plates compared to usual Tuscany/Umbria standards. Exceptional service (many languages incl. mandarin), price qualify value for wines very well also. The location is really special, basically carved into stone.

Il Giurista is a romantic restaurant frequented by many local people (a good sign of quality). The food and wine are exceptional. My husband and I were seated on the back porch, surrounded by flowers and beautiful views.

This is a charming restaurant with solicitous service and well-prepared dishes. My puff pastry appetizer was filled with spinach, cheese and truffles and was delicious. The staff cheerfully accommodated the request to split the appetizer across 2 diners. As my main dish, I had the gnocchi with truffles. The server shaved so many truffles over the dish, I finally said « stop. » There were 5 of us in our group and everyone enjoyed their meal. There is a well-curated wine list.. Unfortunately, there was a large group of rowdy young adults at a nearby table. They were so Loud and obnoxious, we could hardly hear each other speak. I would definitely go back to Il Giurista but if there was another large group, I would ask to be seated in another room.

I visited this restaurant at a friend's recommendation but was a little disappointed as the pasta as too thick and not cooked enough. From a service perspective, the staff was all friendly but found them a bit too quick to serve in between courses, not allowing enough time to properly finish before bringing the next dish. And from an environment perspective there was a little smell in the air and the decor is a bit simple.
