8.5/10I was excited to eat here as it is a Michelin Recommended restaurant. I always trust Michelin with their recommendations and have eaten at several recommended, gourmand and star ⭐️ restaurants. So I think I was expecting more from the restaurant. Also I was very indecisive of what to have and feel the primi I selected gnocchi with zucca was good it was just a bit underwhelming for me. However the pecorino soufflé was excellent. The service was good but not great especially for a restaurant recommended by Michelin. Is it worth the stop yes but I recommend looking at other highly rated places on FORK as well.

10/10Outstanding food in a beautiful environment, with the loveliest servers and staff I've encountered in a long time. The food was beyond delicious. And the wine sound selection was fantastic. Highly recommend.

6.5/10The ambience of the restaurant is very authentic and cosi. I was by myself and during the whole dinner I had the feeling that the waiters are not happy that I dine alone. When the waiter came to take my order he was so much in a hurry seems like we are in McDonald's and he doesn't have the time for me. The food was prepared very fast but it was nothing special. I can't recommend it especially to foreigners, all the attention was focused on the italians even though I speak pretty good Italian.

9.5/10Simple dishes , cooked well. Amuse Bouche, Chicken liver starters, pork cheeks, sirloin with lardo all excellent. Side salad and beautiful €?7 cannellini beans on the side with good house red at €14 was a lovely lunch.

6.5/10Service was good with some quirky and fun waiters. I was disappointed with the food since it had a Michelin rating in 2023. That certainly was not the case on this visit. Food was somewhat what bland, truffles did not have much flavour, reminiscent of good home cooked food, definitely not Michelin standard.

10/10Definitely worth a visit when you are a foodie. What was surprising to me was the size of the dishes. Very high quality, and rather big plates compared to usual Tuscany/Umbria standards. Exceptional service (many languages incl. mandarin), price qualify value for wines very well also. The location is really special, basically carved into stone.

10/10Il Giurista is a romantic restaurant frequented by many local people (a good sign of quality). The food and wine are exceptional. My husband and I were seated on the back porch, surrounded by flowers and beautiful views.

10/10Absolutely one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We ordered 6 dishes to share between us 5. Everyone was amazing. The gnocchi with truffles was the best. Go eat here!!!

10/10This is a charming restaurant with solicitous service and well-prepared dishes. My puff pastry appetizer was filled with spinach, cheese and truffles and was delicious. The staff cheerfully accommodated the request to split the appetizer across 2 diners. As my main dish, I had the gnocchi with truffles. The server shaved so many truffles over the dish, I finally said « stop. » There were 5 of us in our group and everyone enjoyed their meal. There is a well-curated wine list.. Unfortunately, there was a large group of rowdy young adults at a nearby table. They were so Loud and obnoxious, we could hardly hear each other speak. I would definitely go back to Il Giurista but if there was another large group, I would ask to be seated in another room.

6.5/10I visited this restaurant at a friend's recommendation but was a little disappointed as the pasta as too thick and not cooked enough. From a service perspective, the staff was all friendly but found them a bit too quick to serve in between courses, not allowing enough time to properly finish before bringing the next dish. And from an environment perspective there was a little smell in the air and the decor is a bit simple.

10/10This was an amazing meal in a beautiful restaurant with outstanding service. The best we have had in Italy! The gnocchi with truffles melts in your mouth. We are considering coming here another evening because it was so delicious.

10/10Excellent experience in every regard. First of all, the ambiance made this a memorable meal. Just off the main historic plaza you take steps down below the street into rooms with historic vaulted ceilings, all decorated tastefully. The desk welcomed us and we were given the choice of several tables. Ours gave us the vantage of the entire room: perfect! The meal from the amuse bouche on was outstanding: imaginative plating and expertly prepared. A thoroughly enjoyable meal: not to be missed in Perugia (esp if you can enjoy a Fork discount!)

9/10My second visit to Il Giurista confirmed the excellency of this restaurant, which combines a pleasant venue and a good service with a superb food quality that, without too many innovative turns, characterise the way traditional dishes are prepared and served. Prices are not cheap but are more than justified by the level of the restaurant. Definitely recommended.

9.5/10Il Giurista in located in an historical building very close to Perugia's main square and its setting is remarkable, with a antique ambiance that matches the excellent way in which traditional dishes are prepared and presented. The service is attentive and professional and the cuisine quality is very high. The restaurant is focused on meat, offering also a special, tasty truffle menu, Strongly recommended!

10/10My husband and I had a good time in this restaurant. A waiter speaks Chinese and we communicated great. We ordered beef steak with truffle, the food was my husband’s favorite, and the environment was wonderful.
