Amazing food and excellent service.

The gluten free bread, the curry soup, the duck with mashed potatoes. Yum yummy 😋 the service was also excellent. We will return to this place 💫

The staff were genuinely warm and one could already feel welcome! We chose a table and without any rush, water and some excellent wine( Picchio Rosso biologico) We ordered an antipasto, primo and mains - and whilst waiting we’re served with some excellent homemade bread! The food and presentation were superb and although fighting for space we also opted for some dessert ! Heavenly. Certainly one of the better restaurants we’ve been to this year!! Chapeau to all!!👏👏

We dined here on our first night in Lucca. A lovely restaurant setting and the ambience was good with some nice music at a pleasant level. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming and explained the dishes well. The menu was nice and simple, with only a few dishes for each course- which is reassuring and says to me that they concentrate on doing a small selection very well. The menu is really different from the traditional Italian restaurant fare, and we really enjoyed our choices. I had a salt cod starter and Mr M had hummus with seasonal vegetables these were both very good. Their in house bread was excellent too. Mains were tuna tataki for me and a spicy Marrakesh chicken dish for Mr M, both again were delicious and well made. Dessert was a chestnut cream with hazelnuts for me and mascarpone with chocolate and chunks of toasted local fruit bread, both delicious! Overall this was a very good experience, the food was different from the norm but really well executed.

Fantastic seafood carbonara! Knowledgable and waiter who provided good wine advice on local options. Tried a very different wine which was interesting ( in a good way). Definitely recommend this restaurant

In general nice restaurant. The starter/ prima and desserts were the best. Very well balanced, great taste! The main course fish was nice but not special. Wine also well suggested. Overall would definitely recommend it for a dinner night.

The owner was very attentive and polite. His wine knowledge was great. The food and service was excellent. They have a limited menu but the dishes we had were exceptional. Thanks for a great evening.

The food was classy and light! The service was great as well. It was a nice break from carbonara!

The modern twist on Italian cooking was a delight and Constantino was a very knowledgeable guide to the food and especially the wines & the grappas from Tuscany & beyond. We share his love of jazz and hope to pop in late Friday to catch some of the live music.

Delighted to finally visit and we were not disappointed. Short and interesting menu- everything we ordered was fantastic. Excellent service and hospitality. Will certainly return next time we are in Lucca.

Very limited menu and what we had was ok but probably the worst dinner we had during our week in Lucca. Small restaurant and beginning at 9:00pm they have live music. We left soon after but in a small restaurant they do not need music

Not typical italien cuisine. It’s more a type of „fusion kitchen“ between Italy, German, Asian…… very good quality, super nice People….. Portions are rather small, so better order a full menu…..

The staff were extremely professional, warm and welcoming. The menu was interesting and innovative and the food was of an extremely high quality. We have visited before and will definitely return again in the future.

It was our 25th Wedding anniversary and we had a delightful evening. The owner and his staff were very engaging, helpful and polite. The food was. delicious and different. Very refreshing from the norn. Lovely flavours and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Thankyou all.

We really enjoyed trying the menu at the restaurant and appreciated a new twist on Italian classics! The wine list is also great. The service is friendly and feels personal, would like to come back :)

I would thoroughly recommend Il Grammofono. The menu is limited but each dish was exquisitely cooked with beautiful presentation and a reasonable sized portion. The proprietor was very friendly and recommended our first taste of “orange” wine which we really enjoyed.

Lovely short menu - that’s constantly changing. We’ll be back later in the week when a new menu will be introduced. Great selection of rose wines, perfect for summer dining. Indoor dining only in a/c comfort, ideal with the oppressive heat outdoors. Wonderful husband and wife team.

+2We felt so welcome from we arrived until we left. Excellent and friendly service, and great recommendations from the restaurant short but excellent menu. The menu changes every month so no chance to get bored 😋 We had a delicious 3 course meal- accompanied by a lovely and elegant bottle of orange wine 🍷. When we were leaving the host reminded us about a discount we got by booking through The Fork! We had totally forgotten about it. That too, along with the super friendly service and absolutely great food, is a true sign of quality ⭐️⭐️ When the guide Michelin people finds this place it will be fully booked weeks in advance- so hurry up and book a table ⭐️⭐️
